I think you may find R Stuart is the new owner / manager of PCN-UK, the telephone number is PCN-UK's.

I don't know why Manchester police would supposedly be involved in a website for a company that is registered in Wales (England) an bearing in mind Mr Crappy Town In Kent S Wood lives in Chorley.

the matter is currently under investigation by Greater Manchester Police.

Might be more interesting for anewman to contact GMP to offer his full co-operation.
I'd like to see their reaction about this matter that they are 'investigating'

Sadly I am no longer allowed to view their website (and I was going use it to pay a fine) so will have to rely on others for updates of the content.

This company is an absolute disgrace.

Surely, if anyone was ever in any doubt about whether to pay one of their ridiculous "invoices", their recent behaviour, as detailed in this thread, will make up people's minds.

PCN-UK are clearly unfit to operate and the sooner they're driven out of 'business' and go and get an honest job, the better.

@ anewman - You might be interested in the comment that now appears at the bottom of the Home page apparently relating to your activities?

"Note to site users, after the recent criminal activity of Mr. Alan Newman who breached our security and hacked our web server to change the website content. Can we rest assure to all clients and people who have received a PCN notice that no confidential data was compromised during the breach. Should you have any concerns regarding this please rest assure the matter is currently under investigation by Greater Manchester Police. Please contact R.Stuart regarding this on 08452692084"

It might be worth running this past one of the legal bods on pepipoo (or is there anyone here who can advise). It is clearly written than AN is a "criminal" - if thats not a defamatory comment then what is? I would make sure this web page is archived away somewhere.

Perhaps nominet or the information commissioner would be interested in this - making slanderous statements on websites tut tut.

A grovelling apology on the website should be the minimum expected!

Mr Newman has done nothing except legitimately buy the website via the normal route. No hacking or anything of the sort is involved. However they MAY only know his name - this remains on WHOIS even when you supress other data.

A check for libel is in order.
Under no circumstances may any part of my postings be used, quoted, repeated, transferred or published by any third party in ANY medium outside of this website without express written permission. Thank you.

Agreed, it's libellous. So that's another offence to add to the list.

I believe the police were already involved following threats made to posters here on the previous closed thread? I hope anewman does report this latest shocking development to the police to add to their info.

Something needs to be done about it by the Police, this guy thinks he is above the law and he is extorting as much money from people as he can, while he still can. The sooner he is stopped the better.
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

I can easily produce a receipt for the purchase of the domain. Someone else has already pasted an e-mail from nominet regarding their domain uk-facility-services.co.uk which showed Ashford's domains were cancelled. But he wouldn't want to tell his "customers" (victims) that!

Hopefully his effort has outraged some of us enough to make more determined efforts to close him down, and posting the comment has backfired for him!

I think his aim here is to try get doubting victims, who saw the original more informative and accurate page, to pay up. He is also no doubt still wasting his time reading this thread. Hi Ashford!

I bet R Stuart doesnt exist but what I ws saying dacouch is that when you read his statement at the bottom where he says GMP are involved ad then he says contact R Stuart, it sort of implies that he is the OIC.

anewman - I'd suggest you consider contacting these people, they'll offer free initial advice and depending on their assessment may be willing to look into it further:
