Someone called Robert Stuart with a Preston postcode has 3 directorships and appears to have a wife called Louise. This Robert could be unconnected I suppose though.

Could be the same one, if it is and he really hasn't got an SIA licence for vehicle immobilisation then he's breaking the law (I know its unusual for PCN-UK Ltd to break the law). The director of a clamping company must have a vehicle immobilisation licence (non-front line) as well as his staff who actually clamp or tow.

Why would they keep changing the director every few days anyway? Its very strange.

I think he runs an engineering company and he has a different date of birth. I can't see anything to suggest they are linked.

Just wondering that if I complain against/ sue this company for their harassment and unfair practices, would the change of directorship impede/ influence the process?
Check these links if you want to know about my case:

I'm certainly no expert but I would have thought that if anything it would help your case, it depends on their reasons for constantly changing directors but what legitimate company would change directors so frequently?
  • The limited company is a separate legal entity i.e. it has a legal existence of its own. Whether it has any assets is another matter.

He could be doing it to help keep us entertained.

...but that would suggest some intelligence on his part...

    On second thoughts -maybe not.

He must have sold the company or asking people if they want to be a director, imagine how pleased they are until they google the company name. Might explain the continual change of names.

Or they may be playing musical chair(man)s

So have they now taken the domains off you?
Did you get your money back?
  • Dear Alex,

    Internet domain name: uk-facility-services.co.uk

Further to my email of 25 January 2010, I have now completed my investigation into the registration of the domain name uk-facility-services.co.uk which is currently registered for Alex Threlfall.

From my investigation it has been found that we did not receive the correct authority to cancel the domain name. Therefore, I must now take the steps necessary to return the domain name to its original registrant.

Under the terms of our contract with you, clause 17 of our terms and conditions states,

“We may (but do not have to) transfer, cancel, alter or amend the domain name, put it in a special status or prevent its renewal:”

    and clause 17.3 continues,

“if we reasonably believe that the changes to update the register or to correct any error, ambiguity or inaccuracy relating to the domain name registration (including any error in making the domain name available for registration or an error in a previous cancellation of the domain name) would make it more accurate;”.

Therefore I must now issue notice to you as the registrant of the domain name that we will cancel the domain name on or after 4pm, Thursday 28 January 2010 and re-register it for its previous registrant. Please be aware that no transfers of the domain name or amendments will be accepted.

I trust that this clarifies our position however should you wish to discuss this matter further with me, please feel free to call on 01865 332244.

    Regards,

    James Middleditch

Was what I received yesterday. No sign yet of a refund from ukreg however.
  • The website is back online and there still seems to be BPA logo (and others) on the from page. Has this company actually joined?
