Keep complaining people! Don't forget to add HMRC to your complaint list as there's still no Vat registration number evident on their website!
They won't be registered for VAT. They're a new company, and the turnover will be minimal (hopefully!!), and certainly not high enough to warrant VAT registration.
I'm assuming that VAT was not charged on the ticket that was received by the poster a couple of weeks ago?0 -
Me and my Cage-Fighting pals have distributed our phone numbers to various folks in and around some of the areas where Ash has been clamping. We also have bolt croppers and cutting gear in our work van. We'll take pictures and post them on here if any shenanigans occur.0

Remember everyone.. it's ILLEGAL for PCN-UK LTD to clamp you. They are unlicensed.
If you get clamped by these cowboys, dial 999 and ask for the police.0 -

Accurate and welcome though this advice is --- the police are massively disinclined to become involved when they can't "see" actual criminal activity taking place ..Under no circumstances may any part of my postings be used, quoted, repeated, transferred or published by any third party in ANY medium outside of this website without express written permission. Thank you.0 -

I had a little look at Gala Bingo Chorley car park yesterday afternoon and all the PCN-UK Ltd signs have been removed. Does that mean Gala Bingo have finally realised what kind of criminal thugs they're associating themselves with and terminated their contract with them?0

The website seems to be down again and didn't like my proxy! My very sincere apologies for those hoping to request off-board assistance but I am now so inundated with requests that in order to do justice to those "already in the system" I am no longer accepting PM's and am unlikely to do so for the foreseeable future (August 2016).

For those seeking more detailed advice and guidance regarding small claims cases arising from private parking issues I recommend that you visit the Private Parking forum on PePiPoo.com0 -

I hope so, this is the email I sent to the CEO of Gala Coral (Neil Goulden) when bitterwallet featured the story and the pcn-uk website "Changed Hands"
"Someone has called bogie on your Chorley branches parking
Gala bingo were warned about the business practices of the parking contractor for the Chorley Gala, these were sailing very close to the wind and often breaking the laws. Including giving incorrect legal advice on the legalities of private parking tickets, displaying logos to pretend accreditation they were not entitled to. In one instance someone who received a ticket at Gala Bingo Chorley allegedly had a visit from PCN-UK's debt collectors who have no legal standing, they allegedly put it in writing to the person that they were bailiffs and they had a warrant. A Warrant is issued by a court when a court judgement has been awarded which none had. This is true is highly illegal.
Gala were warned about this companies practices but decided to ignore the warnings.
They say there is no such thing as bad publicity, I'll let you be the judge of that.

Perhaps you should chose your contractors a little more carefully in future and take into account private parking tickets are a very grey area in law and in most cases are unenforceable so the private parking companies have to take liberties to try to scare people into paying
Regards"
Hopefully other people emailed them, if anyone knows any other companies they have contracts with let us know so we can inform them about PCN-UK's practices.
