I don't understand why it was obvious we wouldn't get them but worth a try. I ordered items, one of which was the blanket, I received the other items but was told the blanket was delayed. They then charge me for the blanket and send me a bag with paperwork.

Personally I'm not happy to use a company that sometimes send what you order and pay for and sometimes don't, particularly when you have to phone them to ask them for a refund.

Can see your point but how did you find the blanket? Did you type christmas blanket in to the search or use a product code? I could only get it on the screen using the product code and when I typed in christmas blanket..(or anything along those lines)...nothing was coming up...hence why I thought it was pretty obvious...but on the other hand I decided to try just incase I was wrong!!!lol..can't go missing a bargain...haha!

I have an account so although it says I owe the £2.25 they haven't asked for it yet (not on statement)..so I sent a nice email asking for them to take it off and I'm 100% sure they will:)

The reason its got ull upside down etc is probably 30000000 members of the public ordered one!lol...or 10. I always go with the fact that if something is on a forum with thousands of people reading it then the chances are slim you will get one but worth a try just incase...taking money and having to ask for a refund has never happened to me before and i have shopped with la redoute and vertbaudet for years!...just a blip!

  • the lady I spoke to at CS was lovely too, she processed my refund and tried to order two backpacks (I ordered two blankets) but as it was a vertbaudet code she couldn't see if they were in stock so instead she ordered me a free luggage trolley and a free vanity bag + shoulder bag from the laredoute site. They arrived today and are all matching.

Delivery came this morning, felt an empty bag and handed it straight back to the delivery lady. Just called CS and told they are "aware of the problem" - yeah I bet they are! Apparently they are trying to contact everyone effected but not got round to me yet...
Refund processed back to card - last time I shop with them I think!

My backpacks have turned up today - they seem nice quality. I think my two nieces will love these MORE than the blankets !! Fill for Christmas with some little bits & pieces -- a great pressie, I think.

I'd never shopped with La Redoute or any of its sister companies before - and although wouldn't give them 5*s - CS apologised, refunded and sent me the "free" items very quickly - so I don't feel too bad.

As a "Newbie" I would like thank all for their bargain-hunting - I've spent money but saved more money than I've spent, if that makes sense !!!

Just got the call aswell, explaining all the options I had. I choose the backpack, which I think was the only option that didn't have strings attached. No way was I going to go for the 'Spend £70 blah blah' option .

They're weird to buy from, I ordered a quilt cover in the summer, when it arrived it was a different (horrible!) one. I phoned them up and apparently the cover I ordered was out of stock so they just swapped it for a random one, which I then had to send back.
