Empty package here too - sent by courier, not through the post. Must've cost La Redoute a fortune in P&P and then all those refunds on top!

Just rang up for free backpack and got told I couldn't order it as it was a verbaudet item and my account is laredoute. Asked to speak to a manager and he apologised and said the only way they could accept the orders at the moment is in writing but that he would do that for me and I should receive it soon. We'll see what turns up!
I had the same issue at first. My first call was to get my refund, then I called back to order the free gift. The outsourced call handler said that I had given her a La Redoute customer number but I was trying to order from Verbaudet. I stood my ground and said I didn't have a Verbaudet customer number and the letter had been enclosed with a La Redoute order so I wanted my item. She left me on hold for a bit then came back and said it would be sent to me. I think she must have been setting me up a Verbaudet account! Anyway, I;ve had the dispatch email now so we'll see what happens!0 -
This company is a rite pain in the neck, i stopped shopping with them 4 that reason, u just cant seem to get ne thin done with them, i saw a trailer from tv posted off here n one women was nearly mental with the stress they caused her for returning things n refunds - stay well clear if u dont really need the item xxSIMPLES!0

After calling them, I have today rec'd the refund to my CC.
Won't be using them again. Did not try to get the free backpack, don't want anything to do with them.0 -
