Just in case anyone doesn't know the freephone number to get a refund, its: 0500 777777...I just got through with a little wait...not that head office were going to offer me a non geographical number or freephone for their own shambolic treatment of I,m sure many thousands of their customers.0

thanks for the free phone number just used that and got through straight away. I have to say the woman was very nice and helpful, but she did tell me that they had had problems with the blanket passing quality control and this is why they had a backlog, they werent sure how many people it had affected so they can only refund as each customer phones. she also asked me if i wanted to pick a free item as a replacment (on top of my refund) I chose the back pack.
I wasnt suprised to get the empty pack as id seen so many on here, so not really bothered. I will be happy once my refund goes through and i get the back pack.:santa2::xmastree::santa2:0 -
I've phoned them again:mad: because I haven't even got an empty parcel.
The customer services person said they only became aware of the problem on Wednesday when people started phoning them and that the accounts department are currently working their way through the refunds.
He said it was being done for everyone and that I should get a letter.0 -
I've phoned again and have now been told that's rubbish and people do need to phone up:mad: she has now put a refund through for me but no offers of anything else and she seemed quite surprised I hadn't received the letter yet.
I won't risk ordering from them again.0 -

Thanks for everyone's help with this. I got a empty bag with an invoice, so I called them up today and they were very nice about it all & offered me a refund straight away. Won't be using this company again, though. What a mess!Cross Stitch Cafe Monthly Challenge Member #27

As I was reading this I got a phone call from Customer Service to tell me that they had sent me the letter and in error had charged my account. She went on to say that my account has been credited with the charge and I can still have a choice of gift.0
