    Hello everyone

Well, after my last post I mooched about, and dragged my heels and was finding all sorts of excuses...but you know what (oi Edinburghlass read this bit!!!) once I got started on the bedroom I just kept going and actually got it finished. Well, when I say finished the wardrobe and the two chests of drawers need a good clear out, but I'll do those next week as they are a job on their own. The charity shop box is filling up quite nicely now as well.

Well done Edinburghlass on getting the floor cleaned - keep going!!

I'm poopity pooped now and really need my bed. It's still quite light here though, I need to wait until it's dark before I can nod off.

For me it's the hall and the front room tomorrow. The hall consists of the floor and skirting boards, there is no furniture, shelves or anything else in it. The front room is a bit of a ghost room as I never use it - about time I did really so need to get it straightened out.

    Bye!

Wey hey!!! WELL DONE SNOWY OWL :T :T :T :T

Looks like we're both working on the same rooms tomorrow - I doubt I'll get to even look at my skirting boards as I have so much clutter to clear in there.
Good luck with it - and keep up the good work!

Goooood FLC morning, OS Flyers :hello: :D

Managed to get some of the pantry done yesterday when I got home, but there's still the bottom half to be done; today will continue to be a kitchen focussed day and that will inevitably spill over into the utility room. Got my marigolds at the ready but won't officiallly begin until after the boys are at school and the furbaby consigned to the front porch!
I know I'll be adding storage canesters to my 'needs' list. We don't buy icecream or marg so no tubs of that kind lurking around to use as an alternative.

My 'reward' for the end of my endeavours today is going to be ... a home pedicure :)

Brassic, good luck today, I know just what you mean about getting sidetracked, I went on the computer to sort out my pantry inventory and got sidetracked talking as well. Today is a new beginning :D

Morning ladies. Woke up with loads of energy again today :j Planning on harnessing that energy and get some stuff sorted out. Most of my rooms are clean (save a weekly hoover / dust which I'll do either tomorrow or Friday in prep for the weekend) so I'm spending this time catching up with jobs I don't really want to do.

    Todays plans still include :
    • Finish scanning Bank/CC Statements ready to shred
    • Washing up
    • Laundry (new clothes and bedding)
    • DD's/Mbed/Livingroom - daily pick up
    • Ironing.
    • Inventory fridge/freezer/cupboards which includes .....
    • Get stuff together for DD to take in tomorrow for School Fair (all sorts of bits from around house, maybe including some tins or packets from the cupboard depending on what I find)
Normally I'd go to the school fair and have a good rummage BUT I'm not going this time around. I've donated enough stuff for them to sell so I don't feel guilty about not going and spending my money :D I was going to bake but I'm not going to do that either, instead I'm going to save my baking for the end of term when I'll send in some cakes for the kids snack time, and some goodies for the staff ;)

My work will officially start when I get back from the school run, but already I've done the daily pick-up upstairs and I'll be able to swipe the bathroom over while DD cleans her teeth since I've already finished my brekkie today :D Will also check on the laundry in the airing cupboard drying, should be able to put that away ;)

Nobody has failed!! If you are even doing a tiny bit more than you normally would then you are succeeding!

Come on ladies, it's the start of a new day.

I shall be doing as much as I can in between baking a birthday cake, finishing making a trifle and doing birthday tea and supervising 4 five year old girls.

Mainly dining room and living room today but not a deep deep clean, that will have to wait until tomorrow.
Organised people are just too lazy to look for things

Trying to fit in the challenge in between going to w**k. Only work 3 days a week - Tues to Thurs:D - but they are long days and often I don't get to do anything when I get home. DH works away mostly so on my own during the week. He actually likes ironing  and all the ironing is done on Sunday mornings but by me, so LOTS of Brownie points gathered in :T We somehow accumulated an extra wash which had to be done on Monday, so I am contemplating doing the ironing tonight so that it is done for when he gets home. MEGA MEGA Brownie points :A

I read the FlyLady site and have actually made my bed this morning before I left, so that was new :rotfl: Struggling with the lace up shoes though - the only ones I have are trainers ............. :rotfl: :rotfl:

Morning all, its windy here today, so throws are gonna be washed and hung on line, to get the dog/cat hairs blown off, and seeing as its cooler, conservatory is my first job today.
Will be walking dogs at 9, home about 11, by the time I have a cup of coffee and a nosey on here it'll be 12  but that still gives me 3 1/2 hours to clean. Hopefully will get my fish tank cleaned out as well.
Glad to see everyones doing so well, keep up the good work.
