  • I think I've caught up with myself, my kitchen and bathroom are sparkling like I've never seen them sparkle before, and I think it may induce some kind of diet cos I'm too scared to eat in case I make it dirty!
Am quite enjoying the motivational emails from FlyLady, scary how she knows every morning that I've forgotten to take the washing out the machine...
Off to tidy the lounge now, having got up, made my bed, got dressed to lace up shoes, eaten a healthy breakfast, had a Swish and Swipe of bathroom and put a load of washing on. I'm exhausted already!

Morning all:wave: Today I am going to finish the kitchen!

Bathroom still looks lovely and took no time at all this morning once the hordes had been through!

Weather keeps going from sunny to dark clouds, shall I peg the washing out:confused:

Happy Birthday wishes to moggins DD. Enjoy your teaparty later!:D

Well onwards and upwards, as my mum used to say. Catch you all later ;)

    • 1st lot of washing is out on the line and nearly dry in less than 30  It's quite windy here and since I'm making bedding the priority its drying really fast.
    • 2nd load is in the machine already.
    • Spent half-an-hour tending to my wind swept plants which had blown over/flat including one of my tomato plants even though it was staked up
    • Bathroom was swiped while DD got dressed.
    • Washing that was in the airing cupboard is sorted (while DD cleaned her teeth) and in piles on the bed waiting for the rest of today washing to be done, dried and sorted (I prefer to put it all away in one go at the end of the day than multiple trips ;) )
    • Dishes from last night left to drain/dry are put away while making DD's breakfast.
    Next job :
    • Find all the towels that need washing from the bathroom ready to wash after bedding has finished.
    • Wash dishes
    • Quick scout in the cupboard for food for DD to take into school tomorrow for school fair. There's a couple of things that have been hiding in there for a while so I might as well get rid :rotfl:
    • Tidy desk so I can carry on with my bank statements - only 2 financial years to go and then I set too on the credit card papers

    Afternoon everyone.

I have just discovered it is not a good idea to eat a whole tub of Ben & Jerrys Phish Food when you are cleaning :(

Apart from that everything is going well. the dining room is done, the kitchen is getting there, just the floor to mop before I go to the school. The sun is streaming through the window and I have Capercaillie playing at full blast on the stereo :D

You can't leave it there! why is it not a good idea? Sounds quite appetising to me:D

Just stopped for a quick coffee and bite to eat. Things going really well today, could it have anything to do with being here on my own?

Kitchen well on the way to being finished, just two more cupboards to empty, scrub and refill then the floor to mop and I'm done!!:j

Hope everyone else is tasting success today;) Bye for now.

Wow what a fab thread! I have always been really good with housework but with all the weather changes and it feeling like winter again I have really gone off the boil. I'd like to join this challenge on monday if that is ok, and the all will be gleaming for when my Oh goes away on fri night, and then my weekend with the kids should be fun rather than trying to fit housework in with playing and cooking etc etc. The only problem is that by monday i will prob have forgotten all about this thread, and just slob around with my youngest so if anyone can remind me that would be great.

    Thanks very much

    afternoon ladies!

Have stopped for cuppa. Didnt have plan for today but I have done:

I too have done Conservatory (bulchy) - all hoovered, pvc all cleaned everywhere, windows cleaned.
Hoovered/cleaned on pc desk & behind!
emptied and cleaned out paddling pool
duvets still drying out on line.
cuddly toys washed - much to DS dismay as she found them going round n round! (there were tears!)
and Mirror Ball cleaned and sparkly

Did get to play music as mum turned up and likes telly on - but i did burn some lavender oil - is that earthy enough??

bulchy - KICK KICK! will that do?
