Happiness is a perfume you cannot pour on others without getting a few drops on yourself.

I know this is really sad but after seeing this thread earlier I decided to start the challenge on Monday, and now I'm really looking forward to it :j . Am very tempted to start tomo but know there is no point as this weekend all the work will get undone and I won't be able to get through the whole house in 2 days. So monday it is. Good luck all who are taking part this week and see you all next week. :beer:May 2015 £10 a day currently £2080

You could maybe start in a small room, that wont be used that much over the weekend, just a thought. Not trying to force you or make you feel guilty or anything :rotfl:

Thanks for the kicks gals, its worked.
Conservatory is done, windows all cleaned, pvc cleaned, hoovered floors and sofas, and clean throws put on straight away, I even hoovered the cobwebs off the vertical blinds, probably the worst room to do this time of year, as even with door open and the wind blowing in its still so hot in there.
I've also wrote a letter of complaint to Npower, so that saves OH a job tonight, might be able to persuade him to wash outside windows of conservatory, if I can tear him away from the football
Just having 5 mins on pc then will have a quick tidy round, then might clean my fish tank out, see if I still have 2 goldfish in there.

Got side tracked.
I filled the sink with hot water to wash the dishes but it was too hot so I thought "Rather than waste that water I'll let it cool down a bit and then wash up" ...it's still there and now freezing
Also got distracted finding stuff for DD for school tomorrow. I ended up sitting here sorting out ebay stuff. Just 2 things left to list...I think, unless OH finally goes through the computer bits box and digs out the stuff we don't use anymore
DD is not in a good mood so being side-tracked again into reading her a story before sending her off for a very early night
:wave:Creeping back in for accountability after falling off the wagon in 2016.Need to get back to old style in modern ways, watching the pennies and getting stuff done!0 -
I managed to do a 27 fling boogie last night, which was fab as i felt so grotty but just did the living room/dining room, and it looked much better. it was mostly junk mail, and envelopes. Also paid some bills i found on the coffee table so they could then be filed away.
OOH - and put away lots of jars/packets/bottles in the kitchen. DH has a terrible habit of using something and not putting it back in the cupboard, so now they are back in their rightful place.
tonight, i want to try and wipe round the bathroom suite, and finish off my ironing pile if i can summon up the energy. There wasn't much left the other day, and then that will leave me chance to wipe around in the spare bedroom tomorrow.

Success!:j Kitchen is finished and looks lovely. Everything in its place and all shiny and clean!:D
Now DH will be home in 1 hour, DS3 in 2-3 hours. Would it be very wrong to double-lock and bolt all doors to keep them out and house looking good?:rotfl: :rotfl:
Suppose I'd better go prepare some dinner, but how I'll do that and not mess the kitchen I don't know! You never get a second chance to make a first impression.0
