I think we need cleaning parties, I am sooooo good at cleaning other peoples places, but can't motivate myself to do mine! If anyone has a similar problem they are more then welcome to come and do mine!!!

I know how you feel, I helped a friend out for a few weeks with her house cleaning job she had, and I used to fly around the houses, she said I put her to shame :rotfl: but it helped that the people she worked for ALWAYS had the houses tidy, even the kids would make sure there rooms were tidy, so all we had to do was clean, it was so much easier.

Well thats my work for today done :j I've cleaned bathroom and hallway this afternoon, and mopped livingroom/diningroom/kitchen/bathroom/hall. All look a lot more presentable. Am off to walk dogs now, I need some fresh air, then its tea time and after tea, I'm gonna do the dreaded ironing watching the football. It'll probably take the full 90 mins plus extra time to get through it all.
Hope everyones managed to do everything they wanted to do.

Ah, now I understand, I'm happy to clean guys - can someone pleeeease come and tidy for me.....it doesn't all fit :rotfl: :rotfl:

Must be why it takes so long, lift item, wipe underneath, replace item.....repeat 20,000 times :o even worse, same with the hoover!!

However, I managed to get out of bed this morning and wash and hang up the bed linen before leaving for work, and still got here on time - yippee...hopefully it will be dry when I get home so I can remake the bed!!

My DS 11yo has just flown into the kitchen singing "fluttery, fluttery, flutt; Fly Boy to the rescue! Can I help in any way?" :T

Along with Fly Girl doing FLC in her room, I am breeding a family of flies.

Should I seek professional help?

I'm glad I'm not the only one feeling behind already! but I have joined FlyLady, and spent 15 minutes clearing out under my bed, and picked up 27 pieces of rubbish from my room, which had a weirder name than that... OH is surprisingly supportive even though he fears I'm being brain washed and has helped me declutter the garden and empty a piece of furniture to go on FreeCycle. Unfortunately none of these help with the fact that the kitchen is only half done and I've not started the bathroom yet. But I'm justifying it as FlyLady says I only need to take Babysteps at first!

Considering today started badly it's not gone too much to pot.

DD's room is sorted, cleaned, 3 bags of rubbish and old toys thrown out, bedding washed, dried and replaced, floor hoovered, even sorted out inside the dolls house and put all the furniture in the right rooms :D

    Landing, sorted, cleared and hoovered

    Stairs hoovered

Hallway cleared, coats put away, hoovered.

Now I just have to clean carpets when everyone has gone to bed, wrap presents, bake quiche and watch CSI ;)

In between I have taken a huge CD unit to my daughters and stopped for a drink and a game of pool (the joys of her living in a pub) :D
