I know we only have one point of view. There is the possibly that the OP has posted the messages out of context or made up the replies.

The buyer seems to have decided they wanted a refund from the beginning, they were not prepared to take the phone to the Apple shop.

I can assure you that the My replies and the Buyers replies are in the context that they were received/sent. I haven't edited or omitted anything.;)

Haven't seen the op back on saying he has re-sold it yet.

I haven't resold it as I decided to use it over Christmas to see if I pick anything up on it. If its faulty I didn't want to be re-listing it as I should be able to get a new one.

Unfortunately, I haven't been that Lucky, Since getting it back I have used it daily and it seems to be functioning normally and I took it to a O2 shop who had a quick look at it and said it seems normal as far as they could see.

As this phone is getting more common, I managed to compare it with around 4 other iPhones from various people and question them about their coverage. Their phones all seemed to perform similar to mine.

I might keep it for a short while, as I purchased a Nokia and had to return it as it was faulty. Oh the irony:rotfl:

At least everyones happy, and you still have a working phone.

Just a final update. Sold the iPhone again a week or so ago, buyer happy, no problems with it, got there in the end.
