Oh I soooo want my house to look like that it hurts!!!!

I've been collecting glass cake stands since the summer (doing a cake stall next year and want it to look posh!) I usually pay £1.50 - £2.50 from charity shops SHE PAID £12!!! MUG!!! not that there will be any around for a good few months now. :rotfl:

I used to work for a london auction house, some of the people have no idea about real life. my favourite story was once i over heard a trainee valuer talk to an estate agent about how much deposit she had for a house £235,000!! (this was over 10 years ago!).

You don't need to use the flower paste for modelling. Just sugar paste (make your own or buy ready to roll from the supermarket) and add CMC powder to make it firm enough to mode (this turns it into modelling paste, also known as mexican paste)l. If you use sugarpaste without adding this the sugarpaste will be too soft and the model will collapse!
