I was sent the letter with the above codes on and used them for online shops. The codes were accepted at the online checkout but no points were shown on my deliver note. I called CS to query where the missing points were for XXSUM 1 & 2 and eventually got the points added on manually after I read the letter out to the guy on the phone.
However, the same thing happened last week with the final code (XX-3SUM for 500 points). So I called CS again and explained what had happened. Straight away the girl I spoke to offered to add 600 points (the original 500 for the code plus 100 for "the inconveneince"). Either this was just a particularly genorous CS person or this is a general directive if anyone calls up to query why their points haven't been added. Just a thought for those who don't know whether to chase CS for their points for these codes or not.0 -
The 6sum code isn't working - well not for me anyway.
However i phoned them and they are adding it manually once the shopping has gone through.
'Sorry, the code 'XX6SUM' could not be accepted. The code may be invalid, could have been mistyped or might be only for use in another store (e.g. you cannot use grocery eCoupons on books orders). Ref: EC01'Lost lbs =

deanos wrote:You may be better going through Quidco and getting a quote from Lloyds TSB as they are offering £90 cashback, and instead of getting buildings + contents together split it and get it seperate for £180 cachback
I would warn anyone about getting House and Buildings separately, even through the same company.
We did this a couple of years ago and had to unfortunately make a claim against both. We ended up with two different people to deal with/chase. it was a nightmare which wasn't needed when you are feeling fragile enough with all the stress anyway.Look after the pennies and the £££s will look after themselves0 -

Can anyone tell me if the baby/toddler club coupons are for non baby products? Or are they just for nappies, baby milk, etc - have no need for those :rotfl:
I buy my breakdown cover and 2 mag subscriptions with points each year .... now saving them to see if we can get enough for a holiday:j
Its not just baby items you get offers on. I get extra points or money off cereal, fresh fruit and veg, certain fabric softeners, pizza and frozen food, shampoo and lots of everyday non baby related items!0 -
thanks lou, now that I know the vouchers are not just for baby stuff I'm gonna join - even if its just one voucher a quarter thats useful - every little helps

went to Tesco Folkestone and was peed off to be rewarded with 1 green point for not using 4 of their carrier bags. Apparently a large cardboard box gets 1 point only, and old lady type bag on wheels gets 2 points, But 4 sainsbury plastic carrier bags gets 4 points all for an equal pile of goods. (or less probably) When I queried it an irratated supervisor said "oh for heavens sake it's friday afternoon, give her 1 extra point". How I resisted the urge to say bollards I'll load it all into tesco bags then... I don't know.0

I recently sent off for MFI vouchers, but the paperwork with them suggests you cant use them in conjunction with any other offer. Surely noone buys things from MFI unless they have a sale on - I wondered if this had been a problem to any forum users. Thanks

Dunno about wombling but a till spit is when you get vouchers at the checkout, after you've paid they come out on the reciept roll.0
