Just looked on their website and they are offering double the value at ASK Restaurants.

Spend your points at ASK. 500 points = £5 off.
Nectar have teamed up with ASK Restaurants to allow you to treat yourself to great Italian food throughout the UK. All you have to do is hand over your Nectar card when paying your bill. What’s more, each 500 points gives you £5 to spend at ASK.
When brothers Adam and Sam Kaye transformed a local house into a restaurant, they had a simple dream. A home from home, where diners could relax, be themselves and rely on fantastic great value Italian food, that was 1993 - and the first ever ASK in Haverstock Hill. Since then their family of restaurants has grown across the whole of the UK, which goes to show that sometimes the simplest dreams are the best ones. With over 120 ASK restaurants nationwide there is bound to be one near you. Click here to find your nearest!

Email addresses cannot be used to logon at this time. Please try again using your Nectar card number

Ok, fine So you key in your card number, It disappers somewhere when you key in your password, and you come back to the same text box and re-key in - it says card details not found !! What a piece of crap!!!!

  • Thomson have changed their nectar points rewards to...
You can collect 150 points per call and up to 750 points per week and up to 3,000 points a year (excluding bonus points) just for calling the businesses you need. (link here)

Or in other words if you called the maximum of 5 nectar calls a week you can do this for 4 weeks for the year to collect 3,000 points.

Incase web admin reading, Moneysavingexpert nectar boosting link here needs to be updated Moneysavingexpert link to update...

Thomson Local. Earn 50 points each time you use it

"A Thomson Local promotion means if you find a business via the Thomson local directory or website and it has a Nectar symbol by it, you get 50 points (worth c. 25p). It’s slightly fiddly but if you do it a lot it adds up. Register your card, dial the business via Thomsons 0845 number (part of BT's free calls allowance) and you get the points."

Quicker now to get 3,000 points though limited now.

Got a mailing saying that could use nectar points to pay for legoland at double value - ie 500 points = £5. Normally of course this is no better than the normal legoland voucher deals but the text said simply present your nectar card to pay with your points balance so I wondered if this meant that you could for example first present your 2 for one vouchers and then present your nectar card to pay the balance thus paying in effect only 25% of 'full price' in nectar points?
    I think....

Most likely there will be something in T&C "cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer" which obviously 2for1 is. I would double check.

Does anyone know how often they have double nectar points for amazon on estores. I want a £300 item and have missed the promo, I thought it would be on much longer than it was?

Is it worth waiting or should I just go ahead and order now. Annoying since I just hadn't had time to sit down and order.

I've been getting the same problem the last three days - thought it was because I haven't used/logged into my account for ages & maybe it'd expired?

Even tried registering my card (don't remember bothering to update the necessary details when I got a new card) but still got the 'unrecognised card number... could be because it's unregistered' message

I'm only trying to restart using my account because it's the only place offering points for amazon - can any one tell me what rewards they do now / if they're wprth it?

I haven't been able to log in using an email address for several months. Always have to use the nectar card number.
