You get 500 points for joining the Sainsbury Mother and Baby club online (My dd is two, if the baby is tiny I think you get a hamper instead). They also send discount vouchers on nappies etc. When I joined they sent me the 500 point voucher twice, not sure why.
  • Apologies if this has already been asked (I did do a search and nothing came up), but is it possible to use Quidco/Top Cashback and still get Nectar points?

I noticed that Lastminute.com lets you collect Nectar, but couldn't see how you could work it so you got cashback and points, as you seem to have to go through one or other website, but I thought if it was possible, someone on here would know!

    Thanks:)

    Mortgage-free Glee!
Greetings! I've searched through this thread for iPhone with no match so I hope this is news to people.
Lucky me can afford an iPhone.
Whilst browsing the apps, I spotted Sainsbury's and Nectar apps. There are some (I believe) exclusive offers on there. For example, if you buy one item from Homebase you receive 1000 points. I'm guessing they sell chewing gum by the tills. There's also a Tripple points offer for your next shop at Sainsburys. Why not buy a £500 TV then return it the next day?

You can't, as far as I know, precisely because you have to go through either a cashback site or Nectar estores.

Does anyone know if the bonus points you earn by spending £500 on an Amex Nectar CC are able to be spend instore on food? It says "anything from the Nectar catalogue", which seems ambiguous? Apologies if this has been discussed already but it is a long thread!

Scrap that, you need to earn £30k to get the flipping card in the first place. What planet do they live on? GRRRR!

  • Many apologies if this has already been posted, but Thompson Local are offering 250 Nectar points for reviewing a business online. Click through from your Nectar account online. You can do up to 12 reviews a year (total of 3,000 points worth £15 at Amazon or £30 at ASK) and as each one takes about two minutes, this is a nice way to get some free points. I did five a few days ago and the points have already appeared in my account.

Sorry if already posted. Hope that helps someone.

May not be as good as it sounds. You can only get a maximum of 50 points a month for 100 searches which is 25p, so over a year you could only benefit by £2.50 or £3 if you include the 100 bonus for joining up. That's 1200 searches work!
