Hmm, I hadn't thought of wombling, that's a fab idea, thank you
I will go out and have a go at that tomorrow, should be plenty of dropped receipts on a Saturday.
So so SO tired of being ripped off, and mislead
Hope sharing saves some pain.0 -
Had a little womble and found about 30 points on discarded receipts. Another few wombling sessions, if they will add the receipts, I might just get there thanksSo so SO tired of being ripped off, and mislead

Thanks very much for the offerI am down in the south west though. I managed to womble about 20 receipts from the bins under the self service checkouts (not sure if this is the best way to do it, but there were so many of them!). I got some very strange looks so didn't hang around too long! I think there's about 25 points on the receipts. I also managed to womble some 'get 80 free points when you spend over £20' vouchers, so I guess if I can make a food shop up to the amount I should have the points I need.

The best value use of points that I can see is still Eden Project tickets. They still cost 2000 points (worth £10 if used in Sainsbury's) for adult tickets and 500 points (£2.50) for child tickets, whereas the same tickets will now cost you £20 and £7.50 if you buy in cash at the Eden Project. (10% less if you buy online in advance.) So, you are getting double value on adult tickets and triple value on child tickets.
However, if you pay in cash you can get an annual pass, so if you think you will go more than once in a year, nectar points are not such a bargain.koru0 -

I hope you were being discreet... as wombling is frowned upon and I believe breach of T&C... They could take the points of you if they wanted! (at least at Tesco it works like that)0 -
Anyone got any idea how long you have to wait for extra points via apps Bought stuff in S/burys 3 weeks ago still waiting for about 500 nectar pointsPrivate Parking Tickets - Make sure you put your Subject Access Request in after 25th May 2018 - It's free & ask for everything, don't forget the DVLA0

I have just totted up my points and have worked out that I would get £65 off the gate price at Legoland (500 points = £5 off admission)
Nectar are calling this double points, where 500 = £5.
At Legoland you swipe your card and they take the money off the total, which you then have to pay without using any other offers. (NB All those 2 for 1s and Free Child tokens you have stuffed your purse with for months will be useless...:p)
However, Eden Project admission is 2000 points for an adult. (Exactly the same amount in "money" as it's £20 to get in).
Their concept of doubling points is interesting!0 -
