I have also had problems getting points added because of the ipod app thingy.

When I 1st started I made a chart of when a bonus offer was activated, when I bought the item and what store and also a column for when the points actually were added so I could keep track of what I needed to buy and also if the points did not go on I could chase them up. The points never went on.

One of my 1st ones was 200 points when you spend £20 that went on the next day. Nothing else did.

I waited 28 days and nothing happened so I started emailing them and also writing letters. In the end I wrote 5 letters over the next month and it was not until the start of April I actually got a response and even then points where still missing which took another fortnight to be added after a phone call.

  • I wish someone would take Nectar to task about their atrocious behaviour - Like Martin Lewis or Watchdog. Sick and tired of all the grovelling you have to do just to get the points you were entitled to in the first place. They are so unprofessional and you're lucky if you can get an answer out of the "Nectar Team". When they do reply they do it in such a way that they make it seem as if you are in the wrong.

However, Eden Project admission is 2000 points for an adult. (Exactly the same amount in "money" as it's £20 to get in).

Their concept of doubling points is interesting!
2000 points is £10 in money. That is, it would be worth £10 if you just use the points against your shopping bill in Sainsbury's.
