Thanks.
That would be shame, I am waiting for about 500 points from Amazon but I think I first put it all in the basket and then went through nectar to pay...0 -

Always worth chasing them anyway, you never know! Don't necessarily take their word for it though, I had to chase a couple of sets of points, one lot for a laptop I got from Amazon and another for a Wii I got from Toys R Us, they came back saying that you don't get points for buying a Wii console form Amazon!! Needless to say I explained very carefully precisely what I got from Amazon and Toys R Us, got the poitns through very quickly after that! What is this life if, full of care, we have no time to stand and stare0 -
I've had an account for ages and been merrily swiping at Sainsbury's recently. Today, discovered my account was deactivated (probably several years ago !) so I've been using the card in vain. However, even though the shops will swipe your card and the receipt shows points added, noone tells you the card is deactivated.
Back to Tesco's for me I think.0 -

Can't you contact Nectar and have them reactivate the card, or them send you a new card with the points you have collected credited to your account?0 -
Agreed Tescos points far better.
Though if given chance I will collect points on my nectar keyring card, though you get !!!!!! all.
Found out that they have stopped allowing you to use your email account to login to the nectar.com site to view points... I have to enter the long card number for 'security reasons!'.0 -

How did you find it was deactivated?? Are you going to give up without a fight?0 -
Here is an advance warning
Nectar Search Toolbar

Yes, the 100 points to download and use this tool are great
HOWEVER
This is a third party piece of software
Provided by freecause.com
All your personal searches are sent on the cookie to this provider
Furthermore if you insert an invalid search you will be sent to their website (and not your default search engine setting nor Yahoo)
I noticed this while performing some DNS searches and wondered why I kept ending up at freecause.com
On searching the registry on my two computers I discovered this was from this toolbar
Many people would therefore classify this as MALWARE
Uninstalling is also quite difficult as the program does not have an uninstall option in Windows Vista (but there is one in Windows XP)
To uninstall in Windows Vista, go to the directory "Nectar toolbar", and run the uninst.exe file
(Apologies if the file names are not quite correct, but I have now removed all these directories and files from all my computers now - No malware here thank you)
I have also reported this as MALWARE to Nectar
However, their reply simply states that it is third party software and the message appears on the download page
Obviously they are not aware of what freecause.com are up to then!0 -

Is that a problem? If you put it in once does your ISP allow you to remember user names etc?0 -

Sorry, not a computer expert, don't understand any of this, how it affects you.
The only thing I would worry about - can it send your passwords and your logins to your bank accounts and email accounts etc to them? I don't access these sites through the search.0
