:oThis might sound a bit heebie jeebie (as my ex used to call it) but I'm definitely more centred now I'm br. Think of it as a lifes lesson learnt (try saying that after a couple of vodkas). You learn it, you take what you need from it, then you HAVE to move on. It's not easy, in fact it can be bl***y hard. But, once you know you've learnt it (in my case when I looked the judge in the eye and admitted I'd made some really bad decisions) you can let go.

It's really important not to blame yourself (or others in fact). Nurture yourself, a simple thing as a walk noticing the clouds, bird song or watching the moon come up can really connect you to the greater powers. You dont need to be religious but you need to learn to love yourself again, you are not a bad person, in fact you are a very strong person to have chosen this challenging path.

Life is a circle, you're at the bottom at the moment, the worst has been and gone and you will now continue upwards. And bear in mind that you will always be more emotional when you feel negative emotions, listen to what your feelings are telling you, acknowledge them, and let them go. A good way to do this is write your worries on a piece of paper and burn it in an ashtray or throw pebbles out to see, holding each one first before releasing it, or burying the pieces of paper in the earth.

Oh dear, this might be one of those posts I wish I'd deleted! Lol xxx

Hi Jez....LOL can`t delete now as I`ve quoted you Hun:D.

Thankyou for a truly inspirational post :T:T:T that I have read a couple of times now as I can identify so very much with your words.

Good news! Good news! I got the funding for the Open University. I'm so pleased because it means I can cancel the course I am doing as it's costing us so much money. Anyhoo! I'm really pleased. I start it in February.

Bad news! Bad news! The car failed it's MOT. £45 for the MOT and £85 to fix a ball bearing of somesort somewhere. DH got it in hand, it was acting up in the summer. Sooooooo, that's the car fund cleared out and our xmas shopping money with it. It's OK, DH paid on Friday but that's January pay so have to be so so careful. Very strict budget needed for Jan I think.

Had little Lucy to messy play this morning, what a hoot, we're both in a mess. They were selling reindeer dust for 50p a packet. I got the paper out, made an envelope, glitter, sequences mixed with oats.. voila pack of reindeer dust for free :)

My jam is lovely. Can you believe that! In a great mood today, a little worried as Amy has been to see a pantomime with school and gets very panicky at people dressed up. I fear some poor staff member has been sat in the foyer with her.

DH night beach fishing tonight so I get free run of the telly. Amanda Holden does Midwifery is on, if that daft mare can do it I can! I'm actually scared to watch incase the profession hasn't been protrayed in a very good light and unfairly puts me off.

  • Fab news about the OU!! I am looking at continuing studies I started with them a while ago, but this time I won't need to pay! Just need to decide which course.

We always make our own reindeer dust here, although one year I did use a tad too much glitter and it was still on the front lawn come August!! :o

I think that may be a job for me and my two next week. Along with the paper chains which we found in a box last week, which I must have bought to make up at least 5 years ago!

Bad news about the car :( We have a car which needs mot, will cost lots and lots and lots though! am hoping the OR will want to take it away, although knowing our luck!.... :rotfl: :rotfl:

I've just looked online and found my repo'd house price has been dropped. It's now lower than the mortgaged owed. It's only been up for sale at the original price for 4 weeks.

I guess i'll be on standby for that letter from Northern Rock stating I owe them the shortfall like they promised.. jog on - I didn't sign the deed of acknowledgement but knowing them, they'll try to screw me every which way
