well done yummymummy on getting signed up.

If I remember correctly it is not worth buying the demo bag for £10. It has hardly anything in it, and you will get free samples anyway after a certain campaign as long as you hit your targets. Sorry, being a bit vague as can't quite remember which campaign you get free samples.

I know my SL told all my new sign ups not to bother buying the bag as it used to come with a perfume bottle - a full size one that was worth selling on, but it doesn't anymore.

all i got in mine was a pack of medium bags, about 20 assorted samples and that was it. not impressed at all

Did everyone see the bonus offer for C3 where every mega impact lipstick ordered gets you a credit for the full £8? Could someone explain a bit better to me how this works please as it's left me confused. I have told all customers and new drops that they can get a lipstick for only £3 as an offer from me (I NEED people to buy as my sales are so low!) so will this help me?

well in effct you wont earn comission. it sells at 4.00 you make 1.00 commission.

the 8.00 refers to your sales towards presidents club xx

    Hi

Wonder if somebody could help please?

I am thinking of leaving brochures at hairdressers, shops, offices etc..
Just wondering what type of incentives you give these places in order for you to leave your brochures there. Do they expect something from you as a thank you for letting you leave a brochure? Would you give a discount and how much? What is your experience??

    xxx

If you're wanting them to act as 'sub-agents' then maybe offer them 10% commission but in my experience businesses actually don't want to be bothered - you may get a few orders from the employees (in which case you don't have to offer them any discount). I have a couple of outlets where I offered to donate 10% to their designated charity but in all honesty I can't say it makes any difference to the orders (pretty sure people only order if they want to and are not 'encouraged' by the charity donation).

Thanks, didn't know whether it was worth getting just for the bag? The targets thingy says that you get a bag if you hit £250 in all your first 6 campaigns but I didn't know how likely that was (not meaning to sound negative!). Hmmmm will have to have a think lol!

  • Sorry if this is teaching Granny to suck eggs (sometimes you assume what you're doing is 'the norm')....

I maximise the cost of my books by splitting my customers i.e. given territory get the current campaign but F&F get the back campaign. Am now in a bit of a strange situation where my F&F far outweigh my given territory!

Another tip (sorry again if this is obvious) re. the current 'quickie campaigns' is that I prep and distribute the next book to non-orderers ahead of my delivery i.e. my delivery is due next Friday but anyone, who didn't place an order in that delivery, has the next book now which I'll pick up and re-prep to go out with my deliveries next week. Haven't quite figured out what will happen when we return to the normal three weekly campaigns (will probably have so much time on my hands I'll think I've done something wrong! :rotfl:)

  • These tips have changed my perspective a lot. Given me a chance to rise at work. Lets see how that turns out

My SL told me that the £250 limit was downgraded to £148 (?) and MOV to £78/80(?) I made the mistake of spending £13 on all the fragrance samples, which I gave away to anyone who placed an order, but think that was a waste of money being that not one person ever ordered the fragrance I'd given them a sample of...... Didn't, however, buy any of the bags, etc. as I assumed eventually I'd get them free (which I did).

You can download a lot of labels etc. from the Avon website but the quality of reproduction is not that good in most cases. I'd recommend you to view them and then draw up your own including your own personal details. (Looks more professional.)

Good luck with your incentive scheme - let us know how it goes please.

    Hi

Thanks for your advice. It's much appreciated.
