Hi
Wonder if somebody could help please?
I am thinking of leaving brochures at hairdressers, shops, offices etc..
Just wondering what type of incentives you give these places in order for you to leave your brochures there. Do they expect something from you as a thank you for letting you leave a brochure? Would you give a discount and how much? What is your experience??

Well I just just signed up and had a lady come round this morning with all the paperwork etc. Am now going to spend some time reading through this thread to get some tips etc. Really want to make a go off this and make it work!
Just one quick question - I'm thinking of getting the starter pack bag which I've got a leaflet for for £10. What is actually included in the pack? I've got my eye on a few other bits in the Hello Tomorrow magazine but obviously don't want to order stuff that's in the pack!!
I'm going to spend the weekend getting everything sorted then make a start dropping books off on Monday. Really excited!!!!Proud wife to a soldier and mummy to two gorgeous boysDealing with our Debt Barclaycard £2022.98 RBS £1249.86 Next £183.03September Groceries £120/£102.05:( September Packed Lunches 22/6Sealed Pot Challenge #9940 -

Thanks Phia, on the leaflet it says sample pack and tools to get you started so just wanted to make sure that I don't double order stuff!!
Got loads of ideas flying round my head, definately going to do the loyalty card thingy that's in the Hello Tomorrow magazine. Do I have to use the cards that you buy from Avon or can I make my own? Just thinking that it may be cheaper that way especially if (fingers crossed) I get loads of customers!! Was going to put a note in with my first book saying that you get a card from just placing an order then gt stamps on the order by placing subsequent orders over £10 or something like that if that makes sense!!Proud wife to a soldier and mummy to two gorgeous boysDealing with our Debt Barclaycard £2022.98 RBS £1249.86 Next £183.03September Groceries £120/£102.05:( September Packed Lunches 22/6Sealed Pot Challenge #9940 -

I don't know how much more of Avon I can take!!!!!
My delivery is due today, I'm on jury service this week and next so requested my delivery go to my OH's work. He finished work at 3.30 and no delivery so I called Avon who said that the delivery had been received by the carrier, which I already knew thanks to the wonders of my online account  and would be with me within the next 48 working hours, i.e Tuesday. Which would leave me 6 days to deliver orders and collect new orders for C3 thanks to these lovely short campaigns
So OH called the courier company who said it wasn't due to be delivered til tomorrow as his work is a different area to our home address (10 min drive away). Why couldn't Avon tell me that
OH told them he doesn't work weekends so luckily they're gonna deliver it to our home address instead, at least I'll only be a day behind.
Also still waiting for the Orange vouchers from C18. Been told FIVE times now that they'll be sent out and still waiting. I have customers complaining and I would live my rep voucher too :mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad:Small business owner 🧵 Ex MSE comper 🏆 Student loan repayer 💴 Romanian dog rescuer 🐕 Hopefully a cost of living survivor 🤞🏻0 -
Another question from me (sure there'll be a few more lol!). Am I allowed to have my own website? I know with Usborne you could have your own website but only if you purchased their website template at £45 a year. I just wanted to have a point of contact for my customers where I can highlight the current campaigns offers etc. I've found a free web hosting site where I can build my website, just wanted to make sure it was allowed before I put any time into it!Proud wife to a soldier and mummy to two gorgeous boysDealing with our Debt Barclaycard £2022.98 RBS £1249.86 Next £183.03September Groceries £120/£102.05:( September Packed Lunches 22/6Sealed Pot Challenge #9940

Hi Folks,
Hope everyone had a good new year!
Haven't been on here for a while as I took C2 off. Just started C3 but as C2 is the sales catalogue i'm making sure my whole territory get the book. After 1 drop on 36 books I have £101 in orders. Not too bad. I'm lucky enough to have about 60 C2 books as a friend of mine left AVON and gave me all of her surplus stock.
I will just back order C3 with C4 I think as I only 20 C3 books to keep my account active.C14 £129, C15 £126 , C16 £442:T, C17 £290, C18 £215, C1 £1200 -
well done yummymummy on getting signed up.
If I remember correctly it is not worth buying the demo bag for £10. It has hardly anything in it, and you will get free samples anyway after a certain campaign as long as you hit your targets. Sorry, being a bit vague as can't quite remember which campaign you get free samples.
I know my SL told all my new sign ups not to bother buying the bag as it used to come with a perfume bottle - a full size one that was worth selling on, but it doesn't anymore.0
