Hi babyfreckles, yes you can buy samples, but if you submit your first order on time and for the minimum order value, you will get sent free samples anyway. I wouldn't rush to buy samples just yet.

If you find your order is just under the minimum order value £78, why not have a look through Hello Tomorrow and order some of the items from Clearance to make your order upto your MOV? This way you can still get free samples, you could always use the clearance products as incentives for orders.

Thanks for the tip, thats a good idea! :) I hopefully will have the min order value by the deadline (the last day for ordering is 25th, so I think I have a couple of weeks to get some customers). If I dont get many at work, I guess I could ask my leader if I can post some around the houses here.

Hi, hope you dont mind me asking but I met above the MOV on my first order but did not get any samples, I asked my SL but she could not tell me why or if they would come in the next order, I have now submitted my second order and met above MOV, will I get the free samples from both ?

    Thanks for your help

    Evening everyone,

I put out some of my old cats to a street I hadnt done yet (only just placed my 1st order) and went out to collect these in and got 3 orders for £40 in total! I am very happy at this as I didn't really expect to get anything from this street. A big learning curve about not being judgemental learnt tonight.

Want to know how silly I am? I have done half my street (its a big square) and I have only done 3/4 as I'm too scared to do my immediate neightbours! Need to get over this as I keep thinking about how I will respond if a neighbour approaches me to ask why I havent gave them a book, can hardly turn round and say I'm too scared!

    LOL

Well, I think I am going to call Jobcentre tomorrow and see if I can sign on. My personal situation is that I need to do something to get a regular income coming in.

Had text tonight from new rep signed up 4 weeks ago. She won't be coming tomorrow for me to show her how to set up her account and use it, she hasn't got any orders, as the word is still getting out there, so we can arrange for another day and time nearer to her next order date to go over her account! Deja vu.....

Just a quick question...when do is the last day I can pay my invoice? On the invoice it says 13 days from the date of invoice (26 Feb) but is that 13 actual days or 13 working days? What happens if the payment is late? The reason I ask is that one of my customers can't pay until Friday due to a huge mess up with her pay but if it's 13 actual days I have to pay on Thursday. It's not to much of a problem because worst comes to worst I will pay as she's a close friend and works with my husband so we know she's not going to do a runner but obviously I'd rather not start paying for things I don't need to!

    Hi yummymummy85

I sometimes pay the invoice the day my new order is to be submitted, but only if I pay by debit card, or the day before I am supposed to submit my order.

It hasn't caused any problems so far.
  • I've been paying by giro at the postoffice simply coz i want to keep my Avon money separate from our normal money, did notice last time that I paid on the wednesday and it showed my account balance was zero on the Thursday so presumably I'd be ok paying it this Friday rather than Thursday when it's due as my order doesn't have to be submitted til the 18th?
