    Hi everyone,

I've been a rep since before Christmas but not really doing too great, I hope some of the hints and tips on here will make a difference!

I noticed that some of you have mentioned using expired books for drops but I'm not sure if you mean back campaign or back a few. If you are using expired books how do you do it in regard to special offers etc?

    Thanks (and hello)!

    Kirsty
    Hi and welcome :)

You can always order from the current and the previous brochure but no futher back than that.

Any sales leaders on here will refer to "expired brochure drops" as a way of recruiting for reps, but NOT for getting customers or orders from people. hth

I think this has been mentioned before but what is the expected earnings from territory? Cant remember from my first meeting with ASm and want to know if I'm getting there!

    Hi Dingdong

expected earnings from territory, depends on the number of houses you have in each street, I am not sure what the exact formula is but for one of my reps - her street has 36 houses, and they expect the take up to be 8 customers and her expected earnings for those 8 customers is £34.00. I wouldn't say it is an exact science more based on average customers orders and potential customers in each road

Sorry posted before I finished. Yes, so the ASM will have given you an estimated expected earnings from territory. This does not mean you will definitely make this kind of money, you make less, you will hopefully make a lot more and get a lot more customers than they calculate at.

It's hard to say things can be so hit and miss! Like I have one long street with customers at one end of the street and yet only 2 at the opposite end of the street and yet the houses are all about the same so not like one end is posher. The only thing I ever say is on average orders are about £10 a customer but of course you will get some customers spending more and some only £2. So long as you canvass regularly then you'll be getting the most fro
    your partiular territory.

Sorry Girls, I have yet another question! lol
So, I have my brochures, and have another meeting with my ASM on Thurs in which she has given me a target of £80 in orders by then. Thing is, I am only taking the brochures into work for now, and to be honest, I am not sure that I will be able to get £80 in one week! What will happen if I dont meet this target? Thanks xx

    Hi babyfreckles

Your ASM is setting you a target to encourage you to meet it, that's all. If you don't get sales of £80 or more, say you only get £35, you can still submit this order, just you won't make any discount from the order, as you have to have a minimum of £78 to qualify for the discount.

You may be pleasantly surprised and find you get more than £80 in orders :)

I signed up a new Rep and she had a week to submit orders. She took the books to work and by the time it came to place her order she had submitted £136, which for her very first week was brilliant!

Fingers crossed, you will do something similar if not more!

Can we still buy the samples as a new rep even if we dont hit the £70? (Just a thought, I could get some samples and let people try before they buy hopefully!)
