Lozza - cross posted. That answers my question about whether they are for sharing with customers. Thx.C5 £202

Hi Noglet
yes sales books are for customers. Some people choose not to give them out at all because items maybe be 99p in these booklets and you don't earn much from them. I do give them to my customers, because as Lozza says "everyone likes a sale" and I think it is good for them to think they are getting something cheaply. Also think this keeps them loyal to me.0 -
Here's a quick query I've not made/come across before....
Mentioned earlier that one of my newbies has been rejected by Avon - or so am told via email from Avon - when I look on SMA though she's been allocated an account no. and credit limit. Account No. and credit limit are dated yesterday, email was today. Any thoughts (apart from maybe the right hand doesn't know what the left hand's doing)?Make the most of everything in life (especially Avon)

Could be that the account was set up and then something flagged up on the system to reject them. I'd ring sl team and double check but I'd say the email being the most recent is correct.Avon Lady since 2009 - I help on the Avon hints & tips thread to help other reps/new sales leaders as I was helped so much by it when I first started out :A0

you would have paid £14 for them. One of my customers bought them 2 campaigns ago for £14! Bet she is fuming now they are only £10, but no guarantee that I could get her size this time.0 -

I delivered some only last week (£15) to someone on my back campaign.... Think I need to make a note not to give her the next clearance book!Make the most of everything in life (especially Avon)

That's the problem with Avon upping and downing prices in books! The only thing I suppose is she could return them to me for a refund and then order from the clearance book but I can't guarantee she will get them.0

Thanks, am new to this so probably done something reeeeallly stupid but I rang the young lady (who was out delivering Avon books at the time!) She's aware of some errors on her Experian credit report, which she says are down to her ex-partner and his new girlfriend...... I suggested first thing Monday she contacts Experian to sort out the errors asap and I've emailed Avon to see what they suggest. Apparently she lives in a very rural area so only got two orders so far but they total £70+ and she's expecting some more from the 20 books she put out tonight.
I'm very trusting so, naturally, believe her - realise in black and white it looks less credible - but hoping to find some way to ease this through. (Have also been on the receiving end of some angry ex's in my time trying to mess with my finances so fully empathise with her.)
Is what I did right/wrong/not to be advised and/or is there anything else I could/can do?Make the most of everything in life (especially Avon)

Re prices jumping......Ive had 3 customers order the clinical eye lift in camp 6 at £12 each, next camp they are £10 when bought with a choice of make up items! Feel really guilty!! Oh and One customer has actually ordered 2! Last camp she ordered 2 reversalist eye creams at £18 each.. this book they are £11!! I feel terrible! Going to use some my extra commission to buy them nice free gifts hoping it will soften the blow!0
