I am still waiting for a response from them after applying online (on Thursday so not long ago) and got the standard email saying an area manager person would be in contact soon. I worried about this too as my credit rating it shocking but it all went through ok for me. Could it be that your ASM just hasn't got around to it yet? Mine was quite quick, applied on the Monday, ASM called on the Tuesday and was round signing me up on the Wednesday but I think I may have been lucky!!Proud wife to a soldier and mummy to two gorgeous boysDealing with our Debt Barclaycard £2022.98 RBS £1249.86 Next £183.03September Groceries £120/£102.05:( September Packed Lunches 22/6Sealed Pot Challenge #9940 -

Signed up last Thursday and had only til Tuesday night to get orders in, but asked for ext and got til Weds night. Well it was a bit of a rush round all my friends and family and anyone else I could think of that lived nearby (didn't have time to do any territory, didn't have enough books) but I managed a grand total of £138. I know I didn't hit HOV but I am quite chuffed with myself for the length of time I had. Looking forward to delivery now!

nah you can't be rejected yet, you've only registereed your interest until you complete a contract they can't do a credit check so dont worry. The asm has probably just been busy, maybe look in your local paper to find a sales leader in your area.Avon Lady since 2009 - I help on the Avon hints & tips thread to help other reps/new sales leaders as I was helped so much by it when I first started out :A0 -
Hi everyone,
Just a question regarding the AVON website. I placed my order on Thursday and I have tried several times to open up the invoice as I recall someone said that you can see if everything is in stock and getting delivered to you.
When I click on the invoice a new page opens up but nothing else happens and the page is blank. Is this normal?

Thanks sophisoph, the encouragement from you and MC helped me. Am going to do a few more book drops today in another area but now running out of expired books...lol. DH will be happy, less Avon books in house! Hoping that people might have a look over weekend and give me a call.
Definately use the sale books as well if you don't already - much lighter to carry too! For new reps, I give out sale books when they are for the current campaign, but not for the back order campaign if that makes sense (to avoid them ending up with items out of stock and disappointing customers straight away), which also means more brochures for prospecting.
Keep at it, little and often is best (so it isn't so depressing when you don't hear back) - I've had people call me a week later, and other sl have said even a year later they've had people call them!Avon Lady since 2009 - I help on the Avon hints & tips thread to help other reps/new sales leaders as I was helped so much by it when I first started out :A0 -

Well done, bargainsearcher.
A little tip though (SLs tend to mention it but ASMs don't - well, not in my experience anyway) - if you get so close to HOV then it's worth ordering something for yourself or whatever's a bargain in your current/back campaign to take you to HOV. In essence it becomes 'free' because you earn 25% discount on HOV rather than 20% discount on MOV.
i.e. £138 less 20% discount = £110.40 nett
£148 less 25% discount = £111.00 nett
Of course, you don't get discount on your books and demo products from HT but hopefully you get my drift...
Really do think it would be better if Avon passed all enquiries down to SLs rather than let ASMs recruit direct. Could be wrong but I get the impression that ASMs are only interested in signing people up to hit their own targets rather than help the newbie maximise value for themselves/their customers and ultimately their upline. :mad:Make the most of everything in life (especially Avon)
