SL get charged 48p for each pack of 5 books. If I was you MC, I'd order more - you don't want to have to turn away potential reps because of not having any brochures. Definately order brochures further ahead than you usually would do (so not only the brochures that show up in red online, but brochures for the campaign afterwards) - purely because with us having to give brochures for a reps first & second campaign, depending on when your delivery is, and what mailplan they are on, you could end up with not having any brochures to give them. With not getting charged for 2 campaigns its worth it, as A said, its to give us to time to get reps signed up - then when we get reimbursed for brochures in theory it will be at the same as being charged for the brochures so overall its zero.
Thanks, Lozza, so per my earlier post it seems it's more expensive to order 'the special rate of £11 for 20 packs' or is my maths wonky?Make the most of everything in life (especially Avon)

Lozza has answered about you buying SL books on the post before yours, hope that bit helps
Your SL will have been reimbursed for every rep you have signed up and she has given you books for, so don't worry about that!
Thanks again, yes, understand the process now (not sure am going to be looking too hard for more newbies to sign until I've got my first 5 settled down) but still confused re. the actual pack price. Maybe it's me!?Make the most of everything in life (especially Avon)

I think because you are in PC club, it is confusing you. I think it is safe to say you will get books at 48p.0

Hi all I'm back again for another winge............ I went to pick my book up today and one of my regulars had 2 books outside each with a label on one was mine and then there was one of another rep. Luckly she has placed the order with me I could see the other form and there was no order but im not happy she is on my road. I think everyone is having trouble with reps going on the teritory its not good.
Is there anyone from sheffield or rotherham on her because if there is there is a thread just starting on the sheffieldforum like this one and it needs some more input.
I was thinking for just before easter what about getting little easter eggs cream eggs or something and saying small easter egg with orders over £10. I thought that might be nice.Sealed pot challenge 18750 -

"All Presidents Club members still qualify for a special price on brochures in 2009. You can now buy 20 packs of brochures for just £10.81, from campaign 6 this will increase to £11.00 with any additional packs at just 48p each. Please note Brochures may not be returned for credit."
So am confused again in that 20 packs for £11 = 55p per pack (and the earlier campaigns 20 for £10.81 = 54p per pack). Did make me wonder if I now had to order a minimum of 20 packs.
Err - the reimbursement is also confusing me...... This is my first campaign as SL and it was actually my own SL, who supplied all the books for my sign-ups so presumably the credit should/will go to her account (or should I have paid her for the books)?
Don't know about PC prices, but pretty sure for SL prices that it works out at 48p per 5 books.
You won't get reimbursed yet for brochures, until you are in your third campaign as a sl, as A quite rightly said as you sl provided brochures for your sign ups they will be the ones to get reimbursed this time so don't worry.Avon Lady since 2009 - I help on the Avon hints & tips thread to help other reps/new sales leaders as I was helped so much by it when I first started out :A0 -

I wouldn't worry - you'll find most reps just want to get on with it - I barely hear from mine, even though they know I'm more than happy to help. They only contact me if they get stuck with something, which once a rep has done one campaign they will have worked out most things anyway, so don't be surprised if you never hear from your reps! I email mine every campaign with different suggestions for getting new customers/increasing orders - never once had a thank you.Avon Lady since 2009 - I help on the Avon hints & tips thread to help other reps/new sales leaders as I was helped so much by it when I first started out :A0 -

Good idea re. the Easter Eggs - thanks!
As for the other rep, why not pick up the phone and tell her, politely, that one of your customers mentioned she'd been dropped another book in by someone else i.e. it instantly gives you 'ownership' of that house? You can then compare notes as to where your customers are and what she can cover. Makes sense for her too as it's a waste of her time and books.
It doesn't necessarily mean she's trying to poach your customers. Whenever it's happened to me it's been a mistake - actually by Avon for reallocating my territory. As soon as I've made contact with the other rep, we've sorted it out amicably and they've moved on.
Good luck.Make the most of everything in life (especially Avon)

Thank you, think the mist is lifting! So for my first two campaigns I'm a 'Trainee SL' (strange how PC pay more for their books). Trust me never to do anything simple - three of my newbies decided within the first 14 days not to continue so whilst I'd lined 5 up before I took the step to become SL that complicated things 'a little'!
Oh, forgot I was also given a 'hot lead' by my ASM but that caused me nothing but hassle and she's now 'disappeared into thin air'! Deffo NOT the easiest start so no wonder am not up for doing any swooping at the mo....Make the most of everything in life (especially Avon)

MC, being an SL is really, really, really hard work. But once you get a nice team and everyone is happy doing what they are doing, it gets easier and then it is upto you if you want to expand your team or be happy with what you do get from your team.
I can't even afford to go swooping, as can't leave DS with childminder. ASM said bring him along... ok, 2 year old stuck in stroller for 2 hours? I don't think so, i will get reported!0 -
can anyone confirm how much the spotlight money maker offer was?0
