OMG, picked up some of my C6 books this morning, one of my not so regular customers has placed an order for £47! She gets a very nice gift!0

I wish we got free books! No, they will charge you in 2 campaign's time for those books. They assume some of the books you have ordered are for new sign up.s
Thanks again, aureol! How confusing; I hate it when they charge things later; really like to know how much I owe and pay it on the button. Another question then please - how much will my books be now I'm SL/APC?
My thoughts are to concentrate on my team of 5 first before considering recruiting any more - may sound pedantory but I don't want to spread myself too thin - so being that I have all the books I need for my signed up newbies, assume it's OK just to order books for myself at the mo - yes/no or am I missing something?Make the most of everything in life (especially Avon)

Yes you can order books just for yourself, they don't know if you order 90 books, if they are for you or new sign ups. The only thing they know is when you submit a new contract for a Rep and they place a first order to reimburse you £5.49 for the books you have given them.
Umm, can't give you exact figure for books, but on one of my invoices, it says 17 packs of C4 brochures £8.16 and 16 packs of C5 brochures £7.68.0 -

thankyou but don't think so. Have had all the other regular orders - one for £12, one for nothing...lol, one for £32, one doesn't know where she put her book, so will look for it and leave it out for me.0 -
Lozza will be better to answer your question about how much your books will actually cost.
I better go, got a mystery shop to do and make DS goes to sleep while I do it, as I ma not supposed to take children with this particular company, but I need all the money I can earn at the moment, and I can't afford to put him with the childminder.0 -
I may well decant out some of the fragrance into a bowl and "dip" the bottom of the cards into it if spraying it doesn't last too long, can always pour the remainder back into the bottle
Mmm yes the dunking idea sounds interesting, I was just worried about totally soaking the card and it going all wavy like wet card does!
The fragrance is quite nice, just doesn't last too long. Nice sparkly effect though!!!
Yes MC - I haven't bought any perfume for myself from Avon since I bought an EDT and found out that it doesn't last very long. Doesn't stop me from trying to promote it to my customers though!!
Ah well will still put the cards in - hopefully the fragrance will last in the bag and will be lovely when they open the bag!!0 -
SL get charged 48p for each pack of 5 books. If I was you MC, I'd order more - you don't want to have to turn away potential reps because of not having any brochures. Definately order brochures further ahead than you usually would do (so not only the brochures that show up in red online, but brochures for the campaign afterwards) - purely because with us having to give brochures for a reps first & second campaign, depending on when your delivery is, and what mailplan they are on, you could end up with not having any brochures to give them. With not getting charged for 2 campaigns its worth it, as A said, its to give us to time to get reps signed up - then when we get reimbursed for brochures in theory it will be at the same as being charged for the brochures so overall its zero.
For territory for new reps - We can't check ourselves for territory until we have a signed contract - due to data protection, we can't input a persons details until they have actually signed a contract to confirm their interest. There is usually some territory free nearby in most cases, only time I've found there hasn't been is when people live in villages surrounded by countryside - if they live in a built up area then it isn't a problem.Avon Lady since 2009 - I help on the Avon hints & tips thread to help other reps/new sales leaders as I was helped so much by it when I first started out :A0 -

Thanks, so that looks like a flat rate of 48p per pack irrespective of how many you order. The only reference I could find on my order page was this:
"All Presidents Club members still qualify for a special price on brochures in 2009. You can now buy 20 packs of brochures for just £10.81, from campaign 6 this will increase to £11.00 with any additional packs at just 48p each. Please note Brochures may not be returned for credit."
So am confused again in that 20 packs for £11 = 55p per pack (and the earlier campaigns 20 for £10.81 = 54p per pack). Did make me wonder if I now had to order a minimum of 20 packs.
Err - the reimbursement is also confusing me...... This is my first campaign as SL and it was actually my own SL, who supplied all the books for my sign-ups so presumably the credit should/will go to her account (or should I have paid her for the books)?Make the most of everything in life (especially Avon)

Lozza has answered about you buying SL books on the post before yours, hope that bit helps
Your SL will have been reimbursed for every rep you have signed up and she has given you books for, so don't worry about that!0
