I didnt have much time so just copied the one on Avon friends. I made it smaller so it would fit inside the book & stapled it to the page. Its on offer for £1.80 in c6 so seemed like a good time to try it.

Not much cheaper but 3 for £5 in C5 ;)

I wouldn't worry - you'll find most reps just want to get on with it - I barely hear from mine, even though they know I'm more than happy to help. They only contact me if they get stuck with something, which once a rep has done one campaign they will have worked out most things anyway, so don't be surprised if you never hear from your reps! I email mine every campaign with different suggestions for getting new customers/increasing orders - never once had a thank you.

Am still doing the one step forward, two back at the mo - I got 5 newbies lined up to sign up (one had been waiting ages for me to find some others) before I decided to go the SL route. One changed her mind, one found she couldn't even though she wanted to so my SL put two my way to help me - one of those decided she wanted to postpone until next year and Avon has just rejected the other one! :(

Oh MC, sorry to hear about Avon rejecting one. I have been thinking about that, and thought I am surely going to come across one, where I will give them books and Avon will reject them, will I get my books back from them!

Actually that one was no hassle at all to me - she signed up initially under someone else (presumably with loads in her team) but they fell ill. It was my SL's idea to transfer her to me. Still makes you wonder though when you do sign total strangers up to your team what you're letting yourself in for?

In my case, I have no choice but to sign up total strangers. Hmmm. One goes to debt just before Christmas, also found out she was pregnant, very unexpected, maybe that had something do with it, one too lazy to go out and about, one moves house and never gets in touch again, one very ill, genuine reason for giving up.

  • Hi all. Just popped back to let you know how I got on with first camp. Signed up last Thursday and had only til Tuesday night to get orders in, but asked for ext and got til Weds night. Well it was a bit of a rush round all my friends and family and anyone else I could think of that lived nearby (didn't have time to do any territory, didn't have enough books) but I managed a grand total of £138. I know I didn't hit HOV but I am quite chuffed with myself for the length of time I had. Looking forward to delivery now!

Hi there, was just reading the thread and wondering on what reasons Avon may reject you? I am still waiting for a response from them after applying online (on Thursday so not long ago) and got the standard email saying an area manager person would be in contact soon. I am now worried I may be rejected due to having a rubbish credit rating - does this happen? Any advice? xxx
