Just collected my books in and pleasently surprised! Got £67 of orders and one was from a lady that initially said she wasn't interested - think it may have been the sale flyer that did it! Still got a few more to collect in then put them all out again! Also got a couple of ladies interested at the playgroup I go to tomorrow and a few friends have asked for a book so fingers crossed I make HOV again!

ym85, if you are almost a hov, just a few pounds off... add yourself a few treats like the 5 for £5 offer on skin so soft in c5 or something else like that.

for example 25% off of 150 (hov is 148 for me) is £37.50
20% off of 140 is only £28.00 pounds.

So its worth spending £10 to to earn £10 more, iyswim. you dont really earn tenner more, it would be 2.50 more, and some freebies for you. but still!!

Thanks Julie, I've been adding a little order in for myself each campaign because I've recently stopped smoking so my reasoning was I'll spend the money I would have spent on cigarettes on something nice for myself! Plus I think it's good if you can actually reccomend products from personal experience, thing is I think I look a bit bias because everything I've tried I love lol!

On a more disappointing note, one of the ladies who I picked a brochure up from mentioned that she had been receiving two Avon books and she had actually given my brochure back to someone else so it looks like my ASM was right and my road has been allocated twice. I find it a bit strange though because I'm picking up new customers each campaign so either the other rep is only doing a few houses or she's just not very reliable. Think I may email my ASM to find out what's going on and maybe ask for another road as well as the one I have incase this is going to cause me to lose customers.

I keep finding other reps books out too. I leave them there. If i accidentally took in a book from another rep, i'd text them, ask where to drop the book/order to get it back to that rep. So this other rep that took your book in was mean, didnt even tell you, or even just put the book back outside same house? :O

When i stopped smoking it paid for my first child! no, really.

Hi all, just had my first delivery today, very exciting! Just a quick question about the clearance sale catalogue. I only received one copy is that correct? It's going to be a bit difficult showing this to all customers if that is that case. Also do we earn commission on these purchases? Cheers

Hi Bargainsearcher, If the clearence catalogue you mentioned is a Hello Tomorrow brochure then this is just for you. You can order demo stuff (the first half of book) and clearence stuff (second half of book) HTH

If its a different sale book then not sure why they have only sent one :think:

Im trying to build my customer base up. Going to deliver to some new houses this week so hopefully pick up a few customers there. Also plucked up the courage to ask my son's nursery (private) if I could leave some books and order forms and they said yesterday. Also one of the staff there nearly bit my arm off when I said I did AVon so defiantly got a customer there :j
