Well have dipped my toe in the water - just signed three up today + OH. The 4th one was a 'no show' (apparently was too tired to come - re-arranged to sign them up tomorrow). My SL was due to sign another up next week but actually closer to me than her so she's passed that lead on to me. Need to gen up before signing up a stranger so guess my no-show today, who's a customer of mine, will be good practice. Everything happens for a reason.... :T

Congrats! It tts easier the more you do!

  • Thanks, lozza. I went prepared (my SL usually writes as she's telling you the information) so had already handwritten all the additional notes. Not sure which is best - the others came to me yesterday to be signed up (and brought a toddler so left a 'bit' if a mess behind) but I visited my ex-customer/new rep today and, not to be too impolite, I came out stinking of smoke.... As I said, not sure which is better - probably neither!! Anyway, that's got my first sole signing done; am hoping that my next one next week will be a 'nice lady'.....

Call me suspicious but am beginning to wonder what happens if any of my team don't pay their bills - does it reflect on me i.e. other than non-payment of commission? My SL yesterday showed me my area on her website and I was staggered to see the amount of bad debtors so am guessing that it's quite common for people to sign on as a rep just to place an order and then never pay? Or, am I being overly suspicious? (Know my latest newbie is an ex-customer so knows about Avon products but I was in/out in 32 mins and got the distinct impression she wasn't bothered about 'the facts' - just wanted me to leave asap. ;))

In short, no, and yes. So you've nothing to worry about personally.

Yeah if people don't pay then after a few campaigns Avon will reclaim whatever you earnt from their order but don't worry as you don't earnt that much from each rep individually. It's more common just before Christmas as people want to get presents for free.

EEEk, I never knew that Lozza. I had a rep with £300 order, who went to debt. Think she took money and spent it over Christmas.

    Hi all,

just had a customer who is always on the brochure before, she's ordered 3 things from the clearance book that went with book 4 and I'm paranoid they're going to be out of stock, but my order isn't in for 2 weeks yet so obviously it's not going to show if it's out of stock. So wondering if anyone knows if these 3 are out of stock:

    Ella Backpack 36400
    Ben 10 Projector Keyring 23549
    Heidi PJ's 01792

    Thanks!

It does take a few campaigns before Avon reclaim commission it will show as a deduction on your sl statement so you might miss it.

All sales leaders - If you have an official Avon website then apparently our address is on show, if you go to your website, then at the bottom click on privacy policy it will come up with your address! Have checked and it's only a legal requirement if people can order goods from your website, which obviously noone can. So if you want your address to remain private email or ring the sales leader team to get it removed!

Has anyone ordered the new loyalty pack with the mascaras in?

Are they the normal ones or the diamond ones? Picture shows diamond but text doesn't say.

    Thanks xx

Yes, I ordered them - the cards are credit card size and the mascaras are the normal ones; I was sent 3 brown/black and 2 black.... 'Thanks' Avon! :( Instead of offering the mascaras as the loyalty 'prize' am tempted to do the valentine lip palettes (3 for £5 in C4) ..... Anyone tried those yet?
