  • Yes, I ordered them - the cards are credit card size and the mascaras are the normal ones; I was sent 3 brown/black and 2 black.... 'Thanks' Avon! :( Instead of offering the mascaras as the loyalty 'prize' am tempted to do the valentine lip palettes (3 for £5 in C4) ..... Anyone tried those yet?

I had someone order one last campaign, they arent very big & not worth £5.00. The SSS dry oil body sprays (pink one) are 5 for £5 in one of the books, these are great gifts. I might order some to give away as loyalty gifts.

Yes, always a good idea to stock up on 5 for £5 offers. Reverting to the valentine lip palettes, realise they're £5 each in later books but got to be worth £1.67 each (3 for £5 in C4) yes or are they really a no-no?

I've ordered one this time - as getting it completely free with a bit of creative ordering, so will be using for a free gift. My customers get what they are given and are grateful for it lol!

  • Wonder if someone can help. My neighbour brought round a very old bottle of Skin So Soft body lotion called Light and Lush and wants to re-order some. She said she has this, which has a yellow label, or the green one. I know the SSS has all been re-named, any idea which one I should order for her? Thanks!
  • Just put some books through 2 new streets, am hoping there isn't a rep already there *fingers crossed* :) hoping i hit HOV this time though :) could do with a few extra quid :)
  • Hi everyone. Have been doing Avon since last August and on the whole am enjoying it. This forum has been loads of help and I'm very grateful for it. Thought I'd finally come and join you. Got a question for you, would love your opinions. I love camping and at several campsites last year they were selling the SSS dry oil spray at full £5 rrp in the site shops. As a rep could I get in trouble for selling to campsites who then sell Avon on in their shops? Not sure whether to approach my local campsites as I think it could be a potential earner in the Summer. Thanks.

I don't see how you could get in trouble - if the campsite buys it from you, its up to them what they do with it! Plus, I don't think Avon would be that bothered anyway, at the end of the day its sales for them! Could be worth seeing if they would want to stock some of the 99p shower gels & deoderants as they could be popular to?

  • Hello all,

Well as a new rep my first order was £108 so not bad considering not many people ordered. Also got quite big orders this time round and its well past my last total and not got all orders in yet so pleased with that.
Does anyone elses Skin so soft dry oil arrive to you sold? mine did and I was worried but the day after they turned back to oil :rotfl:.

Also does anyone do newsletters to put in with their books? If so do you have any examples?

    Thanks

Hi. I think the solid dry oil spray is to do with cold temperature. My m-in-law took some away in their camper van recently and she said hers went solid overnight and then was ok afterwards.

They are ok, just quite small, smaller than a credit card. The lady who ordered one from me has paid £5 for it though
