  • Me again!

Looking through the orders I have received and looking through HT also and I have a quick question...

On page 4 and 5 of HT Campaign 7, it says that "choose any 2 eye products for £7"

Now if a customer orders the Illuminating eye system out of the normal brochure for £18. Can I order this offer (out of HT) for £7 and pocket the difference and give the customer the 'free' item?

Also, Could someone confirm that I am reading the offer correctly?

MC you shouldn't be giving out your own brochures!!!!!

During your first 2 campaigns as a new sl you upliner has to provide brochures and sign up packs for ALL sign ups done doing these first 2 campaigns as they will be the one receiving the refunds, you won't receive the refunds for any you give out.

Ask your upliner asap as it's a requirement they have to fulfill, whether you sign 5 people or 500!!!!

Thanks, lozza. One potential newbie didn't show so my SL gave me a new lead and left me with a set of books. I chased up the no-show and signed her up so that left me short of books. Guess horses for courses? No idea really. Will see what she says but if her lead turns out to be better than the ones I found then maybe am being a bit picky over a set of books?

have lost my motivation today. Was supposed to drop 100 books but couldnt be bothered :o I did pick up a £40 order though on my way to my mums for a cuppa which has taken my sales up to £808 this camp :D:D:D (and thats AFTER lots of clever ordering so my actual order forms add up to much more!!)

will try get the motivation to do the 100 book drop tomorrow.... its new territory and my asm will kill me if i dont cover it soon. :o

Also got least one more order to collect as have had a text this evening off a customer saying she has one for me. And dropped a book today to my first ever "avon recommended to me" customer.. i.e. a customer outside my territory who contacted avon for a rep! So hoping she orders something when i collect the book tuesday. She seemed keen! My target was £980 in sales this camp so im not as far off as i thought id be... :j:j:j

My living room has been taken over by avon stuff though... is it just me or does it multiply when no one is looking????? :rotfl:

WOW - you've already got over £800 worth of sales, you've still to drop 100 books in new territory and you're 'not motivated'........ Think I should give up now! I've just signed up four newbies and told there's no territory AT ALL for them..... Am still waiting for a call from my ASM to sort but not holding my breath! :(

MC, your upliner is going to benefit from your sign ups. The more people you sign up, the higher her income based on their earnings. She gets paid for giving you books to give to your new sign ups. So why pay unnecessarily for books when you don't have them to give? Let your upliner give you books for all your sign ups in the first 2 campaigns.

After that you are going to have to buy them yourself, and hope you get sign ups for each set of books bought.

does this make sense? Basically tell your Upliner you need more books for sign ups, she is getting paid for each sign up you actually get, her books are reimbursed. Why be out of pocket yourself?

Well done on your sales Johanne. Wish I could make that much in sales on my territory.

No! Your sl will be refunded for any reps you sign, whether she provided the books or not as that's how the system works. She is training you and it works in her favour if you are up and running sooner as shell earn off your team too.

Ask for those books if not she's taking the !!!! as shell be credited for stuff she hasn't even bought ie any books you give out! Her providIng you with a lead will benefit her as much as it does you so don't feel guilty for asking her to do her job.

If your newbies have a car and can drive, their maybe territory available a little bit further out, that your ASM can assign to them. Mine keeps offering me territory if I have a car, but when I tell her I have found territory that I can get to by bus, she doesn't answer me!
  • Thanks aureol and lozza. On the back of your comments I've just spoken to my SL and after a few thoughts of how to do it (and my realising that I also need books for my newbies' 2nd campaigns too) hopefully she's going to put an 'additional order' in to get some books delivered to me. My website won't change over to SL until after I put my next order in so it doesn't help (or maybe it does!? :T) I also queried about getting additional HT's too but drew a blank on that one. Any tips there? Obviously, it's better to be given the relevant HT when you sign up (I don't even have one so can't give them mine anyway).

Good thought but, unfortunately, all my newbies will be using "shank's pony"..... Am trying to encourage them into the library to use the Internet - apart from one, who's online at home (pretty sure she'll be my 'star') - but not sure if I'm flogging a dead horse :o ..... pardon the pun!
