Thought I'd finally come and join you. Got a question for you, would love your opinions. I love camping and at several campsites last year they were selling the SSS dry oil spray at full £5 rrp in the site shops. As a rep could I get in trouble for selling to campsites who then sell Avon on in their shops? Not sure whether to approach my local campsites as I think it could be a potential earner in the Summer. Thanks.
You may find that they're an agent in their own right but you can only ask.... As far as I know, you're able to sell to anyone provided you allow 24 hours from receiving their order to delivering the goods (having said that how would anyone know?) Am guessing that the SSS oil they're selling at the camp site is to keep the mozzies/midges at bay - it's got a good reputation for that. If you have a local campsite, then lots of potential customers.... up to you whether you approach the owner of the site i.e. to sell via the shop or drop a flyer into each of the caravans. (Prob best to try the first route unless you can run quickly!)

I have also heard that the sss dry oil is good for mozziesAvon sales - C4 £1080

Yeah we used it on holiday and it worked, oh needed a lot as mozzys always go for him but it worked and didn't smell awful like the usual repellants.Avon Lady since 2009 - I help on the Avon hints & tips thread to help other reps/new sales leaders as I was helped so much by it when I first started out :A0

To anyone looking at going the SL route, a quick tip.... Try and organise your (extra) books well ahead; I've now got a silly situation where I'm going to sign up a new rep next week and am having to give her my own books, which means I'll have to order some more (expensive ones as a rep because 'my website' won't change from rep to SL for a few weeks). Usually, all my books are prepped before I get my delivery but no chance of that this time - also means there's no way I could sign any other newbies up before I get my delivery because I haven't any books to give them!
Sorry if I've confused you - just means I've had to buy two lots of expensive books for my forthcoming campaign because I didn't plan sufficiently ahead.

Evening everyone!
I joined as a AVON rep last week and put out a wee slip introducing myself and handed out the 30 books that my ASM gave me and collected them in tonight and I have got 3 orders!!! 2 people asked to keep the book longer so will collect them on Wed night. Total orders are only £30 odd quid but I went expecting nothing so very pleased with that!
I'm ever so pleased and the kids really enjoyed running around and helping me re deliver them to more houses tonight and are looking forward to Wed night when we go out to collect them in.
My ASM is coming round on Thurs night to show me the webiste etc, hoping I will then be able to access it as I cant at the mo!
Just wanted to introduce myself and say THANKS! for all the hints and tips that you all have shared.

They are ok, just quite small, smaller than a credit card. The lady who ordered one from me has paid £5 for it though
No accounting for some, eh? But good for you if you bought it at 3 for £5 (or even bought extra and now 'need' to return one)!

Hi Sugarhunny1 and welcome to this thread; you're definitely NOT on your own - I've found it invaluable and recommend it to any Avon reps I come across.
Your ASM is going to visit you? Well done you; deffo not my experience but maybe she lives near you.
Once you receive your account no. then you'll be able to access the website; ordering online is soooo much easier. I've just signed three people, who I now realise are going to make it hard for themselves simply because they reckon they don't have access to the Internet. Have told them they can go into the local library and the first half hour is free but whether they'll take any notice is anyone's guess....
Good luck; hope you enjoy AvonMake the most of everything in life (especially Avon)

have lost my motivation today. Was supposed to drop 100 books but couldnt be bothered
I did pick up a £40 order though on my way to my mums for a cuppa which has taken my sales up to £808 this camp
:D:D (and thats AFTER lots of clever ordering so my actual order forms add up to much more!!)
will try get the motivation to do the 100 book drop tomorrow.... its new territory and my asm will kill me if i dont cover it soon.
Also got least one more order to collect as have had a text this evening off a customer saying she has one for me. And dropped a book today to my first ever "avon recommended to me" customer.. i.e. a customer outside my territory who contacted avon for a rep! So hoping she orders something when i collect the book tuesday. She seemed keen! My target was £980 in sales this camp so im not as far off as i thought id be... :j:j:j
My living room has been taken over by avon stuff though... is it just me or does it multiply when no one is looking????? :rotfl:0 -
MC you shouldn't be giving out your own brochures!!!!!
During your first 2 campaigns as a new sl you upliner has to provide brochures and sign up packs for ALL sign ups done doing these first 2 campaigns as they will be the one receiving the refunds, you won't receive the refunds for any you give out.
Ask your upliner asap as it's a requirement they have to fulfill, whether you sign 5 people or 500!!!!Avon Lady since 2009 - I help on the Avon hints & tips thread to help other reps/new sales leaders as I was helped so much by it when I first started out :A0 -

Thanks Marsden!
I think its my ASM as I don't think there is a SL near me and the ASM is a local lady.
A quick question.... In Hints and Tips 2 (reading the previous threads to get some more help and advice) People mention getting the following
"694011 Starter Pack Set (New Representatives charged in next 2 campaigns) Free
553681 Starter Pack Box Net
747731 Representative Starter Bag Free
Do these still exist?
