  • Thanks Julie,

I just wrote a brief message on the order form but that took quite a while. Will definately have a go at printing out something. My C4 goes in today so I'm looking at ways to keep the customers wanting more but with as small a cost to me as possible. The prices for bags etc are in the Hello Tomorrow brochure page 42. Order forms are free but you can only order 2 packs. I have ordered 1 lot of small paper bags (I think these are too small to fit a brochure in but they should fit a couple of small make up items in I hope) and 1 lot of large paper bags, I have also ordered 3 medium plastic bags, hopefully I can get away with just using the paper bags. Its a shame the dimensions aren't listed so you have an idea as to the size.

I received an email from Avon yesterday mid-morning entitled "Winter Sale - more great deals" in which there were details of £1 deals for yesterday, Phillippa bag set today on offer, etc. etc. (it does say at the bottom only for Reps).

My question is ... is there a special section of the site where these are placed for easy ordering? I couldn't find it, so I ended up copying and pasting the product description into the search box and adding them to my order that way.

    Thanks, Bex x

when you go to place an order there is a tab (in the same row as 'view order') saying 'online promotions'. click on that and it will bring up pics with a box next to it where you enter quantity.

in the case of the 'any of these for £1' the description should be red. click on it and it will bring up individual order numbers with quantity boxes below. simply enter how many you want and click update or add to order

Can anyone tell me stationary prices? the only things i see prices for is the brouchures themselves.
What do i really need, bare minimum please? Do you have to use avon bags? surely you can hand single items over unbagged at the doorstep?
Thanks in advance. :) Loving this thread

In HT there is a list of stationary with prices next to them

I always order 2 packs of order forms as they are free, and unless you have a printer i would order some rep calling cards (60p for 100) i find these very helpful and they have lasted ages.

I ordered a pack of large and small paper bags in my 1st camp and they have done me well. Think ive only just re-ordered now (after 9 camps)

It does help if you have avon branded bags otherwise it looks a bit tacky turning up with a tesco bag, plus i always put the next brochure in with their order even if its only 1 item and i staple their half of the order form on the front so the bags help keep them together to save you getting muddled up

on your site if you go to training there are printable message sleips for customers saying 'sorry i missed you will re-deliver on...' etc I printed out a few and they have lasted ages. but the calling cards do the same job and look better IMO

I've just remembered, in my last order (C3) I got (free of charge) 8 packs of 5 samples of that new reversalist eye cream.
I didn't order them, wasn't expecting them, they just turned up in the box!
    Anybody else get that??
(Was this my birthday present and they forgot to mention it?!!)

I think (if you are new aswell) it was probably a smart-start incentive thingy? If i get over 78 in orders i get a small sample pack free, over 148 a better pack free. This is similar to what i was shown, but not exactly the same... hope it helps. http://www.avon.uk.com/REPSuite/static/pdf/smart_start_flyer1.pdf

updated, this is "my" leaflet http://www.avon.uk.com/REPSuite/static/pdf/smart_start_flyer.pdf I wonder if that means i dont get stuff advertised to me? As the leaflet i had was "flyer1" and it goes to flyer3, so probably outdated info. :/

yes thanks - I did also get skincare samples, but this was separate to those on my invoice (it did appear on my invoice but FOC). Seemed like a lot of samples as well - 40 of them!

Yes, I got them too - assumed it's some sort of encouragement to push them. Very few of my customers order ANew products. I'd already organised my orders to go out with fragrance samples so may use these for my next lot of freebies.

Incidentally anyone else having problems with using the ANew Ultimate Eye Contouring System? My eyes feel like I need 'windscreen wipers'.

Just random free samples, i got some too, happens sometimes. Occassionally they even put them on little bits of card.
  • Wow thanks Ellie,

Lots of brill ideas. I've just ordered some of the new Spotlight fragrance samples was thinking of saying 'receive a sample of the new Courtney Cox fragrance Spotlight coming in C6 on orders over £5'. Hopefully this will help get my territory ordering as only managed to get one order. My manager did warn me it will take a few campaigns to build up there trust.
