Hi Noglet,

When I signed up (18 mths ago) I canvassed my whole territory with 3 consecutive brochures. Anyone who ordered during that time is now a customer and gets a brochure every time (or every other if they request it).

I tend to recanvass my territory a couple of times a year, again, leaving 3 consecutive brochures. Anyone ordering during that time is added to my customer list.

Like you said, you can always ask for more territory once you have an idea of your customer base.

I have territory, and when I first started, I was canvassing my whole territory for the first 3 campaigns, once I had whittled out who did not want books left, I would just drop books at the houses that hadn't said no. Then when I got an established customer base I was dropping books to them regularly and recanvassing every other campaign. Luckily I did as had a new rep going "where ever she wanted" as advised by our ASM. My customers were not at all happy about this! She has actually lost me one customer because of this but others gave her short shrift.

Well, the F*** up Fairy has been busy again in Avonland

8 items missing from my delivery yesterday. I've requested immediate replacements but have several orders that I can't complete. To add to the complications, my next order is due next Wednesday, so I'm having to deliver books to the people who are waiting for their orders so that they don't miss out on the order date...........grrrrr!

I shouldn't moan too much really - I don't get too many mistakes on the whole, but there does seem to have been a lot out of stock over the last few months. BTW, has anyone else noticed that some of the Mega Impact lipsticks are shrink-wrapped and some are boxed; I originally thought some of those were missing too. How to confuse matters without really trying

It seems to be the ones ordered from HT were boxed and the ones ordered through the book were shrink wrapped.

Hi everyone, I've had a query from a potential customer and I'd really like to help her as I'd like her to become an actual customer!! Many years ago she bought an eyeliner from Avon which was quite a bright purple colour. It's now only about 2cm long so she is desperate for a new one. A previous Avon lady had tried to find a replacement for her but the one she found was a darker purple and not as bright. I've noticed in C5 there seems to be a lot of eyeshadows which are bright purple but can't seem to see any eyeliners in this colour. Can any one help??

try emailing Avon with the details of the eyeliner, they may and I say may, be able to help you. Can you get a pic of eyeliner? so we can try and see if we can match a shade in book for you?
