  • The address for Santa at the Royal Mail is

    Santa/Father Christmas,
    Santa's Grotto,
    Reindeerland,
    SAN TA1

You need to do it before 17 Decemer.

There is some information about letters to and from Father Christmas on this sleeps to santa page. There is contact details for the RNIB where you can get a letter in braille or audio cassette for a blind person.

It also has a Christmas countdown, quizzes and some shopping ideas.
  • I have always used this site ever since my oldest was born. It is great as you can enter their name, age and town and even the gift that they have asked for. Comes in several different colours.

Has anyone's children had a reply from Santa from the above address?

We posted our daughters and son's letters at the start of Dec and not had anything back. Bit of a shame.

No. Haven't had a reply this year. Have used this address every year and always had a reply. Royal Mail know how to ruin things, posted the letter ages ago as well.

I've done one of the santa videos to sit and watch tomorrow night. Its a shame the letters didn't arrive as its the first time we have done them.
  • last year for the first time ever I sent santa letters for my four children on time before deadline, right postage but never got a reply. Plus my friend did the same - no reply. I sent a complaint email to royal mail but nothing.

I've tried again this year within the right time, right postage from my four children and put a letter in my from me (the mum) saying I would like a reply this time as my oldest son starting not to believe in santa.

Yet again its Christmas Eve and no letters. I am very very upset with royal mail Why is is the second year running no santa letters for my children. Is this just to make money out of postage!!!

  • Shame on you Royal Mail. No response to Santa letters which were sent well in advance of the advertised deadline.
You promote a service for kids to write to a receive a letter from Santa yet you appear to have failed to respond to these in several areas.

Think of how a child feels having put in the effort.

Maybe we can get an official from Royal Mail to advise what has happened? I suspect a few parents are very disillusioned by this total lack of service.

    Where are the kids letters?

This was the first year my kids wrote and posted a letter. Time for an attempt at a recovery plan at this late stage on Christmas Eve.

Anyone else not received a response from Santa?
  • Yeah,

Royal Mail should hang their heads in shame, we thought we would try this for the first time, at least our little dude is only 2.

Like you we posted well in advance.

Next year will do it myself !
