I would ring them back up and tell them you want to speak to the PPI manager personally (if you want to that is), or wait for 10 days first and see what happens.

Hi i asked to speak to the ppi dept and was told it was non customer facing all queries had to go through cs but all they really know is on there computers i will give it while friday and if i havnt heard anything ,i will give them a call back Sunny x

Happy New Year and thank you to everyone who has helped me to claim back ppi you are wonderful to give up your time so selflessly.

Need a little bit more advice please.
Egg have sent the breakdown of their refund as follows

PPi premium on loan £5681.06
Less any ppi premium taken off loan £402.61
Refund of interest charge on PPi premium at contractual loan rate £1964.78

My questions are :
Can I claim back 8% stat interest?
Prior to this loan with egg it was an egg cc we converted with an advisor on the phone, can I claim back PPI for this?

I would ask them for the 8% interest, if they aim to put you back in the position as if you did not have PPI I'm sure your entitled to request for this.
If it was an offer, it maybe a different matter, but maybe the others will post up with some opinions on this for you as well.;)XX

I sent back an acceptance form to Barclays (refund of £2554) in mid December, I phoned yesterday to make sure that they had received it, its not on the system yet, helpful young lady asked that I phone next week for an update. Anybody else experiencing this? How long did they take to pay up?

Hi have you recieved it yet ?? I sent my acceptance form back on Sunday and i have just checked my account and the refund is in . I really hope you get it soon Sunny
