    Hi Max

Just seen your post about misselling and refunds. B Card credited my account despite me requesting a cheque. I have let it go now so long term better off as not paying interest, but are there some links on here that you know of where I can find a good arguement against the others that I am reclaiming against, so that they do refund me directly?

    Cheers Putty
Hiya Putty, if there are no arrears or never been any arrears on your accounts then they should pay the money over to you to do as you please (and 8% statutory interest on top) as you were deprived of the money in the first place. That is a good enough argument I would say. Good luck on your others;).
  • Hi Sunny, There doesnt seem to be any rhyme nor reason to the way the claims are dealt with my husband had had his card for a long time too........we are waiting to hear from egg (and others past 2 months) 2 months deadline just before Christmas yet I've read on the forum claimants receiving refunds within 2 weeks. I hope you get some good news soon too Sunny. Keep in touch.

Hi thanks ,i know i cant work them out ,ive been ringing every week for the last 5 week and ive been told its been actioned ,because its an old card they need to check statements to see how much ive ppi ive paid and then they have to work interest out (which made me think i was successful) then last week he told me they were working on claims sent in mid september ,why then havnt i heard anything I asked when mine was mid august i dont know was all he could say when i asked talk to someone who did i was told the ppi dept was non customer facing
but he would email a reminder to manager .I have now sent a final letter and shall see if this brings any joy ,but im not holding my breath lol
So frustating ,because i know it was missold Anyway rant over .
:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:Again well done and i will let you know if i hear anything

  • Two responses this morning
MBNA had requested proof that my husband was self employed before they could reconsider a refund. This we did with a bank statement and letter from HMRC. Today as an offer of goodwill they have arranged for an immediate refund of the premiums and associated interest charged to hubbys account a credit of £1596. this is there final response. There is no breakdown enclosed, should I request this?

    A&L
    Still investigating..........
