Today I have sent letter asking them to tell when I will have an outcome have asked for information within 14 days of receipt of my letter.

Egg seem pretty much on the ball they have sent a letter saying that they are still investigating and that they have another 4 weeks and will let us know how they are getting on. I still look online in the hope that they have refunded our loan account as has happened with others. Notrhing yet

I note they are all banks so Fos'sible complaints regardless of dates if you only just became aware of the misselling.;)

I had cancelled ppi on some of the cards about a year ago but only recently became aware of misselling and reclaiming.Should I just go straight to FOS? Sorry to ask again.

Don't be sorry to ask... asking is good so i was led to believe.;)
You can only go to FOS once you have given the firm a chance to put things right for you. If you have not already done so then get your reclaim letters in.

I have sent first letters, 8 weeks is now up have not had any offers of goodwill or final decisions. I have today written quick letters saying that 8 weeks is now up and would like their decision........:cool:

Hi there i sent my questionaie back to barclaycard mid august ,still not heard anything although after ringing them i know its now been dealt with , so you may be in for a long wait with this one Good Luck SUNNY

Have any of the firms replied besides egg? If not then I would just do as you are doing but don't give them too much longer as you know you are free to go to FOS after 8 weeks are up. The firms are very busy though as you know but I would think that another week or two is sufficient and then if they do not offer any kind of final response then take the complaints to FOS and they will sort them for you hopefully.;)

Egg are quite good at getting back but it might take the full 8 weeks.
