I have sent complaints to FOS regarding MBNA and Egg shall just have to be patient.
I have what could be a stupid question to ask. Egg loan refunded ppi and contractual interest into my current account, should the loan have been restructured too? (I can talk myself in and out of this)
Sorry being as dense as ................and extremely dense thing:(
xx
Hi hun
Good one for getting on to the FOS for your reclaims :T:T.
in my opinion i thought they would have restructured the loan, maybe Marshallka will know more on this one for you and your not being dense, banks can make things confusing.;)The one and only "Dizzy Di"

Just to bring you up to speed....
We still have two claims outstanding Lloyds TSb. I've just spoken to a lovely chap who reckons it could be another 3 -4 weeks he said that they have been inundated with complaints!
Al-Leicester will now need to send another letter saying times up I'm off to the FOS.
I have sent letters of complaint about MBNA their interest doesnt make sense FOS have said they are asking MBNA for info.
Egg I will get husband to phone as I believe that they should have restructured the loan after their pay out and also have asked FOS to look into claiming back ppi from credit card. This loan was converted from an egg cc. FOS have asked egg for info.
So there we are...good luck to everyone else still claiming.0 -

MBNA " I can confirm that the FOS state that we must return an acoount to the position that it would have been if PPC had not been applied tot the account.
To clarify in accordance with your credit card agreement your monthly payments are allocated to pay specific aspects of your debts first, including PPC premiums. I confirm that interest is charged on your premiums on a daily basis for the transaction date until the date of your next payment.Having reviewed your case I am satisfied that we have refunded the correct amount of interest charged."....
breakdown included is
PPC £12.94 interest £5.34 retail apr 24.9% PPc balance that interest can be charge on £12.94 interest due back to customer 18p and so it goes on.
Maybe FOS will be able to clarify for me?
PPC efund £1483.75
Interest £82.99
Total £1566.740 -

Hi donotpassgo, from the above nothing can be worked cause there are no dates of the transactions for the PPI and you would need to manually feed in each PPI payment and date into the non existent now bank charges calculator and take it from there. Sorry donotpassgo but they have not worded this in a way that anyone could clarify.donotpassgo wrote: »Just got home to a letter from MBNA curioser and curioser.......... still dont get it hope someone can help, here's what they,ve said
