Yay! Sounds great Tete, keep your chin up you're doing really well. I might join you on the Bingo Britain thing, it sounds good, but will have to wait until next week as am going to Lancaster Thursday and Friday.
See you on BP and Dooyoo. I am determined to make my dooyoo payout in the next 10 days or so....!!! I am a good little MSE and got my Crimbo cards last Jan, are yo umaking some Tete?:A :heartpuls June 2014 / £2014 in 2014 / £735.97 / 36.5%0 -
Supposed to be! Ebay seems to be taking over my life at the minute, but hoping to crack on with them during Corrie/Life tonight! They're easy enough so once I get started they should be ok. I noticed you'd been doing a few reviews, will try and get some rating done today as well ... augh - reasons not to get into debt: your life is not your own for all the moneymaking you're doing all the time!
Hehe, I used to get cards in the Jan sales, but would always forget where I'd put them and have to buy more anyway, false economy for me!
How's uni going? You'll break up for Christmas soon - how fast has that term gone?!!Weightloss: 14.5/65lb0 -
Woo! Email from Quidco to say that £127.61 has been paid! Obviously won't arrive in my actual bank account for about a week but when it does I'll only be £627.28 overdrawn! Then with OH's £52 it'll be £575.28! Woo! It was getting a bit close to £1k OD there for my liking! If I can just make £35 ish with these ebay listings I should be able to get to sub-£500 by ChristmasWeightloss: 14.5/65lb0

That's fab Tete
Makes my £7.40 earnings for this month look teeny!
As for Ciao - I think it comes into your bank at the start of the month. They do like a mass payment thing or something? Good luck with your ebaying tonight too, You're doing really well!0 -
Thanks girls! This is a totally one-off quidco for me - £100 from O2 and then a fair bit from booking the holiday in June, I normally get a few pence if I'm lucky. Nice timing though!
Bit of a Money Moral Dilemma here. I do a Secret Santa with my best friends every year and we agreed to spend £15. I saw a DVD box set that I think my friend would like, it was £15 in HMV. When I checked on Amazon though it was only £10 - would you feel obliged to buy something else for £5? I am going to be making (attempting to make) little lavender wardrobe hangers for each of the girls anyway, but don't let that sway you!!Weightloss: 14.5/65lb0 -

Ermm, I don't know about that one Tete! I suppose if they all spend £15 on each other and you only spend £10 that isn't really fair.. but then on the other hand you were going to spend £15 on it but just happened to find it for £10.. Ooo, I don't know!
I'm not much help am I?! I think if that was me, I'd buy something to top it up - even if it's just a bottle of wine.0 -
Hehe thanks Dinah, no foibles from you! But I feel a bit more like Cinny... Because you could say that about anything - find a CD or something for £3 on Play but say 'Well it was £15 in HMV" ... ? Hm. I don't know.Weightloss: 14.5/65lb0

But if Tete had just bought it in the shop she'd have spent £15. Not her fault she shopped around! End of the day the most important thing is getting someone something they will like, not the amount you spend. I've spent £20 on my dad this year and £60 on mum, but they should both love the pressies and thats what matters. Its not going to have a price tag on when you give it, its the item you want not the price tag, its daft to feel obligated to spend more when you've found the thing you want to give her!Debt January 1st 2018 £96,999.81Met NIM 23/06/2008
