    - 1 Dooyoo

    - Open Quidco query - EDF
    - Look at Bingo Britain

Ack, I'm shattered, I hate getting up in the dark! But happily I have a half day today, so will potter on with a few bits (and perhaps a Dooyoo, I can feel a roll coming on) til 12, then I can get a few more bits done this aft at home.

    - 1 Dooyoo
    - 2 Dooyoo
    - 3 Dooyoo?
    - Bingoport
    - Email BP about missing £5 voucher
    - Book table for Saturday night
    - Bake Victoria Sponge
    - Cancel phone
    - Phone up about mag subscription
    - Open Quidco query - EDF
    - Try to get sewing machine threaded (bloody thing)
    - Start on Christmas cards
    - Look at Bingo Britain
    - Ebay pics and write descriptions to list on Sunday
    - Phone travel agents - have our tickets arrived?

I'm trying to be diligent and keep an eye on my banking, but the difference between the balance and the available balance (ie, the amount that hasn't cleared yet and doesn't itemise on the statement) always eludes me. Today this difference is £90. £13 of this is from Tesco last night, but the remaining £77? My car saver £50 is accounted for. Possibly £20 contact lenses and £30 phone ... £5 charity donations ... (although I don't think all these DDs go out at the same time anyway) still £12 short... Ooh hang on £7.99 in HMV ... Augh.

To add to the to-do list:

    - Make a list of all DD dates and amounts!

ETA - Car tax was £69! Mystery solved - phew! (and it was budgetted for ;))

    glad you sorted it out.

I always try and check the difference on that, but as i keep a second by second independent account of what's going on in my bank accounts i always check those back to the bank's version. there's always a difference, but then again i put some fake transactions through on my version so i give myself a buffer zone. Does that make sense? not sure any way i always go by my numbers when i'm working out what's available so i always have less than the bank says. Aim is so that i don't go back into my overdraft.
  • Makes sort of bonkers sense Lemon Tree!! But is that not a bit like setting the clock five minutes slow so you're never late - you know it's slow so you go a bit later anyway?

  • - 1 Dooyoo
    - 2 Dooyoo
    - 3 Dooyoo?
    - [STRIKE]Bingoport[/STRIKE]
    - [STRIKE]Email BP about missing £5 voucher[/STRIKE] - Fingers crossed!
    - Book table for Saturday night - Can't get through, getting odd beepy noise
    - [STRIKE]Bake Victoria Sponge[/STRIKE] - just the cream to add.
    - [STRIKE]Cancel phone[/STRIKE] - sort of, they're sending me a code in the post, then I can cancel. Or something.
    - Phone up about mag subscription - Answerphone constantly
    - Open Quidco query - EDF
    - Try to get sewing machine threaded (bloody thing)
    - Start on Christmas cards
    - Look at Bingo Britain
    - Ebay pics and write descriptions to list on Sunday
    - Phone travel agents - have our tickets arrived? - can't find branch tel no anywhere, only 0845 numbers - will go in on Monday.

    - Make a list of all DD dates and amounts!

Haven't done very well have I? All the little phony-up type jobs that were supposed to sort things and only take a minute each have been a disaster, and as for everything else, I blame my grandma for nattering too much and plying me with tea!

Off to get showered now as OH is coming in an hour, probably won't get on here this weekend but will be keeping track of my spends for a big Sunday night confessional!

Well, OH was very pleased with his enormous, peculiar-shaped cake, little DVD pressie and lovely meal out so I'm pleased with that.

Yuk yuk, weather is absolutely horrible here today. OH has gone home to do some revision - final day of his degree on Friday but he has to have an interview on his dissertation, yak! So I'm snuggled up with the kitties and a cuppa with the Corrie omnibus on, watching the rain spatter my window, it's really rather cosy.

Spends this weekend have looked like this:

    Friday:

£0.84 - Cream for the Victoria sponge which I forgot on Thurs
£3.69 - pic n mix from Tesco - cheaper than the cinema but still..!!
£9.00 - Chip supper and drinks for OH and I (he paid for cinema tickets)
£3.05 - large drink in cinema

    TOTAL: £16.58

    Saturday:

    £ 8.75 - brunch out
    £30.00 - petrol
    £40.00 - OH's birthday dinner - exactly on budget
    £ 4.72 - cheesecake and wine

    TOTAL: 83.47

    Sunday:

    £0.20 - towards parking, it's all I had!

And £10 refunded for an aerial that I bough last week which didn't work, so that makes up a bit for yesterday's extravagence!

OVERALL TOTAL: £100.25 (but if you take off the meal and petrol it's not so bad :o)

Corrie's nearly finished so am thinking about a to-do list:
    - Ebay listings
    - Bingoport
    - Look at Bingo Britain
    - 1 BJ review
    - 1 Dooyoo
    - 2 Dooyoo
    - 3 Dooyoo
    - Sort CD/DVD shelves
    - Look at best prices for old phone
    - Open Quidco EDF query
    - Packed lunch for tomorrow
    - Start on Christmas cards
    - Make a list of DD dates and amounts

I will probably add to this....
