Sounds like you've had a nice weekend I don't think the spends were too bad considering it was your OHs birthday! What did you see at the cinema?

Glad your OH enjoyed his birthday, sounds like you chose just right.

Weekends always seem to be expensive, I tend to try and be good through the week to make up for it.

I feel your pain Tete! I plan on ebaying tomorrow evening - but pretty sure i've run out of things to sell! It was my birthday last week...is it bad that im eyeing up my presents, pondering their value lol

Did you end up joining Bingo Britain? Fingers crossed for a bit of luck for us both.

Haha Lulu about the presents, that is the sort of thing i do!

I haven't seen paranormal activity, OH watched it though and told me what happened at the end. I am not really a horror film fan, I find normal films scary enough.

I'm STILL on ebay - can you believe it?! Just sold a few things that I listed last week, but I think they'll just about pay the listing fees for this little lot! So hopefully some of these will sell and I'll actually make some semblance of profit! Want to get done with this by 8 - I figure if I put myself through it now, at least they're all on there to be relisted easily if I need to.

Only other thing from my list I've done so far is BP, hope to have a little look at BB while Come Dine with Me is on at 8!

Hey sounds like you had a great time Tete! We went to the cinema too, saw Men Who Stare at Goats it was really good beginning and middle but questionable ending. Thought Paranormal Activity looked great, but would probably be watching it from under the cinema chair.

Can't believe your OH has to have an interview about his dissertation! He must be really looking forward to getting finished. Glad he liked his pressies.

OH was home all weekend for the first time in months so we had a great time just knocking around together. It's terrible weather here too, been raining cats and dogs since yesterday.

I saw you on Bingoport!!! It's getting hard to post already, I only managed 6 yesterday, I know nothing about bingo. Well done on the ebaying x

Well I've been on Ebay pretty much all day and my eyes have gone square! I now have 29 items listed, and have taken pictures of a load more which I'll sit and list tomorrow night So didn't get an awful lot else done on my list:

I hate eBay listing too! Do you use Turbo Lister? I find it's not loads faster, but it can be a bit as it pre-fills a lot of fields for you with a template. Plus you can upload everything at once so you don't have to wait ages for everything to finish

I think despite the high spends, you still did good this weekend. You can't be MSE all the time, especially when there's a special occasion. And I'm too scared to go see Paranormal Activity!

Hi Linds, I had a go at Turbolister once but couldn't get the hang of it so went back to just listing things normally. Three of the four buyers from yesterday have paid - there's always one who doesn't pay straight away! I'm hoping they do today so that I only have to make one trip to the dreaded post office this week.

A bit of money catching up, as I don't think this should be an outlet for my to-do lists only

I've suspended my RiSi account til after Christmas - means fewer trips to PO and also no postage to pay - little £1 and £2s all add up of course!

I've been working out what's due to go into my OD account. OH transferred £52 he owes me for out London trip at the weekend, hasn't cleared yet. I also have £128.61 in Quidco which they say is due to be paid in November, but it's the last day in November now, so we'll see! Then I have about £60 sitting in Paypal, which will probably be about £40 after fees ... but overall if all goes to plan I should be able to pay a fair bit off the OD this month even though I can't afford to put any wages in!

Also, I withdrew £5 from Ciao a couple of weeks ago, but don't seem to have seen it - anyone know how long it takes?

Hoping for a NSD today as have stayed inside for lunch and going straight home tonight to do ebay
