  • 2011! That's a long time to be away from your home country, and yet be so near if you know what I mean! Does NIM not miss his friends and siblings?

Doesn't seem to! He was really cheesed off last time that his best mate made no effort to see him, and doesn't feel inclined to go again. It was his decision not to go again until after the wedding, he was just so angry last time that only his dad made an effort to show he'd been missed and wanted to see him as much as possible when we were there. It was daft, 3 out of the 4 nights we were sat in the flat alone as there was no one about!

  • Hm, I'd be a bit miffed too to be honest! When I was away at uni, if I came home for a weekend it was always a mad rush to see everyone. Now that I live back here of course all my friends have moved away!

How are you finding your new diary, Tete? Keeping you motivated and inspired? :D You seem to be cracking through your lists, hope you have some super ebay sales after all that listing!

Have a nice tea tonight - where are you going?* I'm STARVING! I have to weigh in like a good little weight watcher tonight so I can't eat until after 7pm

    * I nearly asked if you were going anywhere nice, but I stopped myself as I hate it when people say that to me - I always want to say "oh no, we decided to go somewhere really carp today"

I forgot to phone O2, but I did manage BP and listing the final items on ebay ... so I've spent about 10 hours over the last three days and listed 58 items, and at the moment I'm selling to the tune of ... £4. Hopefully will do a bit better than this!

Diary doing good Poddle, keeping my thoughts in order at the very least!

How did the weigh in go?? I think it's unfair weighing you on an evening anyway, mornings are best! Just went to a local pub for tea, I had yorkshire pudding, sausages, mash, peas and gravy ... followed by Giant Chocolate Fudge Cake! I still feel a bit ill!

Spent £11.35 on tea so for the day that's a total of £21.59. Hoping for a couple of NSDs next couple of days...

  • Good morning, bit of money movement this morning which is quite exciting! OH's money and my quidco money have both cleared - bringing my OD down to £575.28! :) Very pleased with that!

Now that I've finished listing things on ebay, I've paid my fees from my paypal and withdrawn what was left - £48.52. However the bank account it's going into is my current account, so I'm just going to round the amount up to £50 and put the money straight in the OD tomorrow ahead of it clearing in the c/a. So by tomorrow my OD will stand at £525.28 :) Really hoping to get enough ebay sales to bring it below £500 by Christmas.

    Wednesdays to-dos:

    - 1 Dooyoo
    - 1 Beauty Judge
    - 10 BP posts
    - BP play throughs
    - Put Christmas decs up
    - Start on Christmas cards

Not an awful lot on this as have sewing class tonight, but because there's not a lot on it's doubly important that I do everything!

    :o

Morning, feeling pretty rough this morning as was up half the night with heartburn of all things, never had it before, it's not very nice. Didn't get much at all done yesterday as work turned out to be really busy, and I forgot how wiped out I always am after sewing class, but the tree is up and sparkly. Also didn't log my spends for yesterday:

£2.97 - freezer shop - cereal, alpen bars and ready meal for last night's tea.
£1.55 - soup from canteen for dinner
£0.55 - Boost in a moment of weakness
£2.79 - milk, whoopsied bread (toast craving, Dinah's fault) and 2 bottles of Coke in another moment of weakness after class

TOTAL: £7.86 - scary when it really could have been a no-spend day. Must try harder.

Ebay bids up to £14-something so far, I'll get under £500 yet!!

    Thursday:
    - Put £50 in OD account
    - 1 Dooyoo
    - 2 Dooyoo
    - 1 Beauty Judge
    - Visit granny
    - Bingoport
    - Bingo Britain!
    - Tomorrow's packed lunch
    - Package up phone for recycling
    - Open EDF enquiry on Quidco
    - Phone O2
    - Make 20 Christmas cards

~*ANYTHING BELOW HERE ON THE LIST IS OPTIONAL - ONLY TO BE DONE IF I'VE MADE 20 CHRISTMAS CARDS FIRST!!*~

    - Put sewing folder in some sort of order - see what I'm missing
    - Attempt threading ancient machine again
    - Sort CD/DVD shelf

Erm. I think that's enough for the day.
