That won't happen. Don't forget that debt collectors are just private citizens with no special powers. They cannot enter your property, they cannot seize goods and they cannot blacken a credit record over an alleged parking ticket.
You seem to be confusing them with court bailiffs. They only come on to the scene if the case goes to court ( very unlikely), the case is lost (very, very, unlikely) and the money prescribed by the judge is not paid within 28 days. What part of "A whop bop-a-lu a whop bam boo" don't you understand?0 -

Possibly from the DVLA, if your daughter has ever filled it in on one of their forms.designergraphics wrote: »I'm wondering if the next step will be a knock on the door by some burly debt collector threatening to impound goods. A debt collector cannot "impound" anything, only a bailiff with a warrant from a court can do that. The chance of a visit is nil. They will not want to waste fuel just to be told to go forth and multiply.
Roxburghe and Graham White are the same people. They never do court, just ignore them.0 -
Thanks again for the reassurance - it's comforting! Definitely going to ignore them - although I must admit to a perverse sense of enjoyment not giving the Graham White caller the information he wanted.0

You will be pleased to know that the solicitor behind "Graham White", namely Michael David Sobell, is under investigation by the Solicitors Regulation Authority for sending out all these threatening letters. What part of "A whop bop-a-lu a whop bam boo" don't you understand?0 -

In that case I hope he doesn't feel worried or intimidated by the letters he receives from them - I'm sure they're worth a lot more than the paper they're printed on!0 -

If it is an Excel ticket and not issued on behalf of a council and is titled something like "Parking Charge Notice" or other such guff then you can safely ignore it.
Excel do not do court."There's no such thing as Macra. Macra do not exist."
"I could play all day in my Green Cathedral".
"The Centuries that divide me shall be undone."
"A dream? Really, Doctor. You'll be consulting the entrails of a sheep next. "0 -

first of all thanks. yes its says Parking Charge Notice issued from Excel Parking Services Limited.
Ignore the scammers then, perfectly safe to do so and it has no effect on your credit rating. Laugh at their sad threatograms which are already shown on our sticky thread 'PPC letters/theats, what to expect'. Make paper aeroplanes out of the letters.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
