I think its fine to call them invoices ;)
Excel Parking, MET Parking, Combined Parking Solutions, VP Parking Solutions, ANPR PC Ltd, & Roxburghe Debt Collectors. What do they all have in common?
They are all or have been suspended from accessing the DVLA database for gross misconduct!
Do you really need to ask what kind of people run parking companies?
  • am new to this so bear with me please.Got ticket ages ago from excell but just ignored all threats other than telling them to take me to court as advised on this forum and similar. Now got letter from solicitor threatening court action within 7 days.Am quite willing to go to court as i have a valid defense. However i have never been taken to court in my life and am worried they will do it without informing me so that i can go and defend myself. Will i get a letter from the court.

We got one from Euro car parks for staying too long at a Marks and Spencer outlet. Received all the usual threats last September 09.
Did not respond and just kept quiet. We have not heard from them since about December 09. I suggest you do the same stop panicking.

Last time Excel tried court [Mansfield 2008] they got a good kicking, and they haven't tried it since so don't worry. Even if they did try it on they couldn't possibly do it without informing you, you would receive papers from the court.

Don't worry though it won't happen. Keep ignoring.

So you got a letter from Graham White (not a proper Solicitor firm as such, just a name that Roxburghe debt collectors use to frighten people into paying). GRAHAM WHITE DO NOT EVER 'DO' COURT. IT WILL NOT HAPPEN!

Which letter in the series are you on, from these pictures? (click when viewing link, for close-ups):

It's just a series of standard letters, see what's coming next. Ignore them all. The one headed 'final warning' is usually the last you'll see. Worry not, relax, it's a game now you know it's a scam!
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

had one from Graham White worded FINAL WARNING slightly different to one shown here but it goes on about witholding settlement and having fulfilled all legal requirements in relation to commencing settlement and if i do not repay account immediately they put me on notice that they shall refer the matter in 7 days. It ends please be assured this matter will not go away without solution or resolution.

    Do i still ignore it??????????????????????????

    Errr...sounds like this one? :D

The usual standard guff, GW (in fact it's just Roxburghe debt collectors pretending to be Graham White solicitors) use a couple of versions of the same sort of drivel.

These are computer-generated, well-known letters which are all already shown on our first thread 'PPC letters/threats, what to expect', that's where I looked, took me about 10 seconds to find it but then I've seen that thread so many times before (it's shown under the Central Ticketing link):

Yes, of course, pinkjaney, relax and ignore their latest piece of rubbish. You're actually very near the end of the scam, 'take notice...this matter will [STRIKE]not[/STRIKE] go away without solution or resolution'...! :T

  • A quick update:
My daughter received a letter from Roxburghe Debt Collectors on 24th August stating that if she didn't pay within seven days the case would be referred to their solicitors, Graham, White, who will review her case for potential legal action. I'm glad they're honest in saying 'potential' rather than 'instigate' legal action! We ignored the letter and about two weeks ago I got a missed call so called the number back. It was Graham, White who asked for my reference number to which I replied I didn't have one. They checked my phone number against their records and said it wasn't on file so it must have been a mistake. Anyway, I just received another call from Graham,White who again asked for my reference number. I asked who was calling and what the call was about. We went through the reference number and telephone number procedure again but nothing was listed. At this point the caller asked for my postcode and house number which I gave (rather foolishly I suppose). He then asked if he could speak to Miss ----
and I said 'no'. He asked if I could ask her to call them back and I said 'no'. He asked if I had a contact telephone number or address for her and I again said 'no'. He then asked for my name which I wouldn't give, saying I didn't see the relevance. The upshot was that he said he'd make a note on the system to stop all correspondence to that address - I wonder if he'll be as good as his word! I'd dearly like to know how he got hold of our home telephone number as it's ex directory and we're on the list to prohibit cold calling. I'm wondering if the next step will be a knock on the door by some burly debt collector threatening to impound goods. As my daughter lives with us I'll just say that I own the house, it's contents and anything he'd like to lay his grubby little hands on. It will be interesting to see what happens next.....
