Hi had a notice from these muppets a few months ago.had all the letters according to th list on this site.so now I've had the last one what should I expect next..phone calls?do they send more of the same? Or is that it?

Have you had the letters from Roxburghe/Graham White yet?

If not, they will come next.

You will only get phone calls after this and if they get hold of your number. When this happens, just deny the debt and ask them to pass the debt back to Excel and stop calling you and any more calls will be considered to be harassment... they give up at this point more often than not!

Just had another call from G.W. A very pleasant young lady asking to speak to my daughter. I said "one moment" and left the phone off the hook. Seven minutes later I picked up the receiver and she was still waiting. I said "you've just missed her". She sounded quite crestfallen and asked if I'd ask my daughter to give her a ring. I said "who's calling?" She said G.W.solicitors and I said "no" and hung up. I'm really enjoying this. There were a number of people talking on phones in the background so Roxburghe must employ quite a few people.

Or it could just be a soundtrack tape. That's what those "boiler room" scamsters do. They play a tape in the background to give the impression that they working on a busy trading floor.

7 minutes... not bad... you could have gone for at least 10 though!

I was tempted to just leave them on hold but thought I'd better check in case it was important. We seldom get calls for my daughter on our land line as all her contacts use her mobile number so I should have known better. I'll wait ten minutes next time before telling them she's not here. I could just wait for them to hang up but it's more fun letting them think they've got her then hearing their disappointment when they realize they haven't. I wonder if they really do use a soundtrack tape. It would be good if I could make my own so that when they're on hold they could listen to a recording giving advice on what to do if one's contacted by a parking scammer.
