Thank you for the advice. Will they actually send a debt collector round to my house? Is that not harrassement? In the letter - headed FINAL DEMAND - They say if I don't pay they will commence court proceedings- send debt collectors - then follow on with legal proceedings - where I would have a county court judgement and then the baliffs. Where I parked was a free car park - I visited stores on the retail park and infact moved my car a few times - I was buying things for my trip. I parked outside Asda - then moved to TK MAX - then Maplins and a few other stores - I spent loads of money at each outlet - the car park was not full. Each outlet does have a piece of the car park - so are you allowed 3 hours out side every store? I am a bit frightened - I don't want to get in trouble but I don't want to pay the bully boys. Thanks.0

They won't send round debt collectors. That's just another hollow and meaningless used by these clowns. Just ignore them and please don't worry about these despicable people. They are not worth it.What part of "A whop bop-a-lu a whop bam boo" don't you understand?0

SWAN at the risk of repeating myself, you need to read the stickies 'PPC letters, what to expect' and 'welcome, please read before posting' (watch the Watchdog video link!), both near the top:Coupon-mad wrote: »

Then read some other threads like yours, this is one threads of thousands, see that link and you will notice the front page is today's posts alone about this scam. You will also notice plenty of cases where people are ignoring Parking Eye threatograms.
Relax, do not reply, do not give them info. These tickets are unenforceable. By the way, read that letter again, they are not 'threatening to send bailiffs to your home' they are threatening debt collectors which are just pen pushers and their desperate letter-chains are shown in the top thread on the link.
There will be no Court, no CCJ, no bailiff, nothing.
Just more letters (occasionally they get a phone number and try that but if they do there's also info in the top thread on how to have fun if a debt collector phones up). Nowt to worry about at all, ignoring a PPC is like deleting a phishing email, that's all. Like many others on here I have ignored a private parking ticket and seen out the scary letter-chain, honestly it's all hot air.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Just had my first letter from Mr White. I had to laugh at the letter from Roxburgh they stated I shouldn't listen to what information is provided on the internet about not deciding to pay. Does Mr White continue to send letters after the final warning?0

'Mr White' is in fact Roxburghe again but using different letter heading.
And yes, if you look at the letter-chains as previously mentioned above, you will see that they like to try two Final Warnings on Graham White headed notepaper. And sometimes they harass you by phoning you up but you can easily put a stop to that as harassment is a criminal offence, so you can insist they stop.
Roxburghe are possibly going to have their licence revoked by the OfT soon anyway!PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

So Graham White, the internet advise to ignore is in correct. I am sure some of your employees keep a track of these forums. Between harassing people would one of them care to post up the details of a defended court case you have had success in?
I wont hold my breath waiting for an answer!!0 -
Hey, my Mum has just recieved a parking charge from Excel Parking in a Mansfield car park. I've read on the forum that it is a scam so should I just ignore it then? They won't go to court, will they? Since they would have to pay for the court fee and all that.
She didn't get a parking ticket since she was only only going to a shop for like a few minutes and came back within 10 minutes to see that the 'traffic warden' (I don't know what to call them so I stuck with 'traffic warden') had given her a parking ticket. The 'traffic warden' was wearing a red jacket instead of a yellow jacket and also took a photo of my Mum's car.0 -

Welcome to MSE. You have answered your own questions. Just ignore the clowns and don't contact them. It's as simple as that. What part of "A whop bop-a-lu a whop bam boo" don't you understand?0 -
Ignore them, specially in Mansfield cant see Excel rushing to the county court there in a hurry.:D0
-
Haha, yeah. It was the court where they lost their case!
Anyways, I shall ignore it! Why hasn't Excel Parking closed down yet? Hmm.0
