Look at the post above yours, how can your situation be any different? It's not:Coupon-mad wrote: »

That's enough info actually. Ignore it, say no more...:D
The exact same situation, then, as shown in the Watchdog video about private ANPR 'tickets' with pretty photos, as linked in our sticky info thread 'Welcome, please read before posting' among the top permanent threads on the board:
http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/forumdisplay.php?f=163
Watch the Watchdog video showing exactly what to do with any bogus PCN from ANY PPC (with or without photos of the vehicle, you, your dog - whatever they want to waste their money on!), and read the top thread as well for a preview of the letters you just need to ignore. It's not even scary, just like deleting phishing emails.
Nothing will happen, no CCJ, no Court, no bailiffs coming knocking. Just letters. Scary? No.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

No you haven't a NtO are issued from councils, you have received a begging letter from a private parking company, just ignore them.Excel Parking, MET Parking, Combined Parking Solutions, VP Parking Solutions, ANPR PC Ltd, & Roxburghe Debt Collectors. What do they all have in common?
They are all or have been suspended from accessing the DVLA database for gross misconduct!
Do you really need to ask what kind of people run parking companies?0 -

Thanks, but there is no need whatsoever to update the thread when your letters arrive.
They are all typically in the same category as all other PPC spam...rubbish.Hi, we’ve had to remove your signature. If you’re not sure why then you're as thick and stupid as the moderators on here - MSE ForumTeam0 -
Ok, so I messed up by emailing them. I know this and shall ignore all future crap.
Mansfield carpark ourside of peacocks. Free parking for 30 minutes...So I went inside bought stuff came back out 28 minutes later...ticket.
"Failure to display"...So I emailed them saying
arrived 4:01, ticket 4:10-4:20. Cancel the ticket
auto response "ensure you included your full postal address"
My response
"You dont need my details as this is your employee's mistake. If you're desperate, you'll pay the DVLA £2.50", "So far i've saved you £2.50, a printout of a template letter and the price of a second class stamp, aren't I kind"
They've responded saying "half hour free but you need a ticket".
Take me to court then. I'll pay the initial loss of revenue during the free 30 minutes which would be -1p as I saved you the price of a "30 min free" ticket being printed.
Guy from Mansfield - Don't worry, it's all good! I had one for parking in Millview surgery car park and they stopped replying when I mailed them stating
Please save us both time and money and just go straight to court
You have my instruction to bypass debt collection and go to court for a fair impartial assessment of my dispute and any further costs incurred by yourself are solely chargeable to you.
It's a gigantic game! Be a winner!0 -

Welcome to MSE. Could you please start your own thread as this particular thread is about a parking company called Excel. What part of "A whop bop-a-lu a whop bam boo" don't you understand?0 -
I received a parking charge notice from Excel today but that's where my story differs from everyone else's.
The notice has my car registration plate on it, when the contravention took place and for how long.
Privately owned car park at George street in Wakefield.
Their main problem is that I live 190 miles away, have never been to Wakefield, it's not my car in the picture and although the number plate is close to mine S2*** the car in the picture is HK52***
I really want to string this out and make their life hard, any ideas like request larger photos?0
