Ooops, I overlooked the fact all motorcyclists drive to an A1 Police Standard, all of the time?

Anyone, repeat anyone who has been driving for some years knows only too well they have ALL broken the law at some point. Having read through each post, I think it’s reassuring that “our future” are prepared to stand up and accept they have done wrong and be prepared to take the penalty. Of course running a red light is a stupid thing to do, but he didn’t kill your motorcycle club friend (as far as I’m aware), no more than he knocked down my best friend. Would you prefer him to disregard the summons he receives, or not pay the fine or argue in court some stupid mitigation – I guess then you could really throw stones. Perhaps some would do well to consider a retreat to their greenhouse?

Motorcyclists, like drivers of cars, lorries, buses et al sometimes do stupid things. Thank goodness some of them are big enough to say “I did wrong, I’ll pay the penalty”. Maybe he will learn by his mistake.
I think you missed the point. No one is bashing the guy for jumping a red light, as you say most of us at one time or another have probably been guilty of one motoring offence or another. Frankly we commend the guy for taking his punishmnet on the chin. What's got the goat of most people here is his disregard of the potential seriousness of the offence, denigrating it to a petty misdemeanor not worthy of the Police's time and effort in knicking him.

The point being made is not that he shouldn't have gone through the red light, but don't start slagging off the police because you got caught driving wrecklessly.

I think almost everybody on here would admit to have driven outside of the law at some point, but to try and say that it is minor and shouldn't be dealt with because there are worse crimes happening in the world is not a good attitude.

Also i like the fact that the OP refers to himself as innocent, but then admits to the fact he admits being in the wrong. Oxymoron anyone?

The point I was trying to make was that I don't believe I should get a summons to court. And I can say with certainty that my actions were not dangerous in that situation. I am not saying that running a red light isn't dangerous but in that instance nobody was in danger. I think it's fair that I have the points and pay the fine, I was caught commiting a road traffic offence and it would be the same as if I went through a speed camera at 36MPH in a 30MPH zone. This poses equal risk yet I bet you yourself have muttered a few uncomplimentry words in regards to camera's. Do these spoken words make you unworthy to share the same air as the rest of society.

But he is not taking it like a man he is whining online here and not learning the lesson, so you post is just pap isn't it, the point is not about the fine but about the fact he thinks his obviously twattish driving is good. Just like you think about your post.

    Pathetic, recidivist.

BTW 30 years a full licence holder and never had a point on my licence or a fine, most I ever had was told a light wasn't working and I fixed it on the spot. I wish the courts could make you work in a morgue for a couple of weeks to see what attitudes like yours lead to.

Haha are you still here. I think you will find that the reason I am on here is to distinguish how I can pay my fine and recieve my points since my producer has been posted to lord knows where.

If I was you I would turn to your wife and try and get some loving my friend, you have a lot of anger and frustration inside of you. I'm not sure about my driving but I can comment on your as you are driving me up the wall :rotfl:

You have been told earlier, obviously you are not capable of following the instructions someone gave you here. Keep whining, the summons will soon be on it's way.
